With the Type S module it will really help settle down the car over the curbs and help out with your lap time. I have had the issue with the car going in limp mode on track but I was super low on fuel lol

Boost looks higher than normal. In your previous video max boost on the straights was 22-23psi. In this video its 26+ (16:25). Hope you get the issue resolved!

Did say there is a massive recall on Honda fuel pumps. You should check that out.
Same problem that I had a few months back. I was a bit under 1/2 on fuel and it went into limp mode in turn 4. My problem was "low fuel rail pressure". As just a swing at the problem, I took the car to the dealer and they were glad to oblige and called Honda America support who recommended replacing the HIGH pressure fuel pump. They love warranty work like Doctors love Medicare. I'm not very hopeful about that fixing it since the fuel rail is the LOW pressure side. We'll see how the fix works.
Haven't been to the track in awhile but hope to be able to get there a couple of times this summer (ugh). Oh yeah, had to cancel my trip to Barber as well. Was looking forward to meeting Georgina.

Got the same code after doing lpfp and hpfp. Thought it was bad lpfp and switched it back and it didn’t fix it. Put the stock hpfp back on and it worked fine. Sent my xdi pump back in and it did in fact fail. Almost instantly too
your oil temp was 250 f maybe went lil too hot them went to safe mode.. go to your video on min: 17:50 your see what i mean..just need a oil cooler..great car..

The same thing happened to me on my fk8, if there is little gas left and you turn very hard to the right, the gasoline from the pump escapes through the tank.
Sounds like fuel starvation，my STI will have those issue after long right turn when on straight like last 2 turn on Thompson if my fuel lower than 3/4，so I have to bring gas to track，and I heard that if you starve the pump too much or too many times it probably will broke
Sounds like you need a surge tank
@@lcameeno1 I dont think it worth it, surge tank also require at least 1/2 tank of gas, without it you are good until 3/4 tank, 1 30 min session will use less than 1/4 tank of gas so just bring some gas to track will solve the issue
what did you run in type r at firm that day?
Next mod put some V730s, I have them on my S2k they're great for double duty. I daily them and do track days, they last about 8k miles or practically a whole year of driving. I think they're the perfect balance between grip, endurance, and price.
I had V730s on my Insight. Not as fast as the RT660s, but much better tire life and didn't overheat after a few laps. Only real issue is that they are really quick to hydroplane.

My home track. I have only done Autocross there. How do you like it there? It’s not your everyday high dollar track but it’s affordable for us common folks 😊 plus the guys there are super kool.

What exact code did you read?
Do you have to wear a helmet on track or is that just personal preference? Also do you notice rev hang to be a problem?
There’s a tiny bit of rev hang, not a big deal. Every track I’ve ever been to requires helmets for safety

Your not a real car enthusiast if you don’t know that if you refill your type R and not tighten the cap after refill it will do this u need to make sure it’s tight tight
