Why compare Elantra N with a car that costs $10k USD more MSRP? Here in the US, dealers up charge the Type R another $15-20k over MSRP so you need $60-65k. Not worth it. Elantra N can be had for MSRP or less. It’s not a “little” bit more. The price difference is astronomical for the average enthusiast.
Wait is the bucket seat with the N logo that glows an option to Elantra N or we didn't have that cause i think thats a better seat that holds you better on corners
Depends on the country
Kahawig ng seats from kona N yung ginamit nila for PH imports
Just like the old Genesis coupe, you know the purpose of the N is bringing performance. At an affordable price, right??? As car enthusiasts, you should learn to appreciate that, lol
For the price point the ctr is underpowered. Too big for fwd. Needs to be rwd. Other cars are catching up quickly due to this.
since magka tucson ako. naging koyal na ko sa brand. so i think, elantra N bibilhin ko over civic type R.
Thank you for the input. Yes, ok din magka brand loyalty if ok naman experience mo with the brand long term.
Elantra N wasn’t octane learned. Boots stopped at 15 PSI. When octane learned it hits 17-18.
Kudos to the type r, at least they are on par with the elantra. Both great cars.
May similarity ang Civic R at Elantra N. High Performance Front Wheel Drive, yun lang.
This is the only time mackoy look tall.
Check it again from the moment the brakes are applied; this is completely off.
I love macoy in this! ❤
25yrs old that can afford a 2.7m to 3.8m. Parang bihira lang yung ganun. 😮
Type R manual is a go too
macoy never ceases to entertain me nice review!
Taking availability as well, you cant really get a type r off the showroom now so..
Put GAC Empow Top of the line side by side and you have a competitor
does GAC have a car with 300hp to match both these cars? last time i checked Gac empow only had 175ish hp 😅
I don't think the guys even know the elantra is not in N mode with overboost. No grin shift happening lol
You can buy nearly 2 EN's for the price of 1 R...why would you even compare them.
I am sorry but this test is flawed... the sits where put down for cargo space... the suspension on the N was in track mode the type r in R mode is waaayyyyyy stiffer and u r testing for comfort... acceleration was done wrong u should have done it with the ngs button... so many things not done well in this test...
The type R wasnt in R mode so failure
Selling point talaga ng elantra N yung pops hahaha
Fl5 type r vs Toyota Supra A90 naman
san ho available elantra n? wala ho sa hyundai phils
If you want strict fun and naughtiness, Elantra N. If you tract your car, Civic Type R.
Bros got like 8 inches above his head in the back and he calls it “tight” 😂
Nice Collab! ❤
subaru WRX STI vs Elantra N , i think they are similar in price!
But no new model STI
Elantra n philippines version interior is very plain rather than us version the seat is different its like the nline in us for interior in the philippines and the interion in the us version we have the bucket seat with glowing N logo and more sportier inside hmmmmmmm
Type R is like 2x the price in the US. It loses.
Sad, but true!
You can buy a elantra N and another car for the price of a Type R....The Type R is better but not 1 million pesos more better then the Elantra N....JS...
You are right. I've tried both. They are both mind blowing. The chassis is so stiff and responsive. These cars are amazing.
64 and 46 grand USD for these cars in the Philippines, now way☠️
For the price it’s more comparable to the si
hyundai needs to rebrand their H logo like KIA did.
Elantra N or Subaru WRX?
Elantra N no comparison
fastest fwd nurburgring.........Civic type R hehe
People are driving manual because of no money 😂
Ang alam ko pag me pagka sporty maingay talaga at matagtag. Example ng matagtag Nissan GTR.
what are you trying to accomplish in the breaking portion of the video? are you trying to stop at a dime?
always civic type R !!!
Can't compare a hatch and a sedan....its,not a good comparison
That literally makes no sense!
Unless it's the Type R, like here
That seiko tho
Laid back - typeR, fun - N.
braked earlier in civic test 2
😂😂😂😂, so biase. There is no comparison between those 2 cars in the first place. 1st Speed test. Honda has more power, 2nd Brakes Honda has Brembo, 3rd trunk space Honda is a hatchback of course it has more space cause the back seat can be folded. Next time compare cars that are similar in power, price, type. Next time have a more realistic and reliable comparison😂😂😂😂
Civic Type R for me.
@@dontblinkoryouwillmissme Do you own a hyundai car sir? Pano po ninyo nasabing sirain?
The civic sounds like vacuum sht
Ill pocket the 1 million and get the elantra n
There is a filipino version?!? How? The brittish sense of humor wouldn't translate well
Not the best reviewers for these cars
Hey you. Be a MAAAAN okheeei!
Phillipines top gear is the dumbest I have seen so far lmfao If Elantra costed same as Type R, Elantra would've been equipped with better options and engineering for sure.
