Not only for the Actros, but for the 2010 Scania R series using the pictures from the Streamline from 2013, 2008 TGX they also used the wrong material from the 2013 TGX, The 2014 Volvo FH16 also used the wrong, they used from the 2021 facelift. For the 2017 Scania they used material from the 2020 engines and model updates

DAF still remains the most comfortable truck out there... and its not even close... whyle other trucks such as volvo or scania revolve arround making the engines and fuel economy or actros puting as much tech inside the cab, DAF is still the only truck who puts comfort ahead of all... and as a truck driver, I do not much care about how fast the truck accelates or how many gizmos it has... I am interested in the comfort it provides... and since I drove all kind of trucks, DAF still remains the best truck (by confort standards) out there...

Fun fact, Mercedes-Benz Actros MP3 has less fuel consumption, thanks to Bluetec 5 featured engines. And because of that, MP3 Actros's less fuel consumption feature got a record, and added to Guinness World Record.

Man trucks are really nice . The new 2021 TGX design is one of the best out there . It has that typical German design language with straight lines and cuts seen on most Volkswagens . Germans are really good when it comes to timeless designs .

MAN is a good truck in the real world. Don't get me wrong there, but to win international truck of the year that much without the innovation of Merc or Volvo just seems odd. Like merc brang the amt first. The mirror cam, aeb ect. Volvo brings top performance, safety and the best gearboxes in the world.

@@josefmalina3273 The trucks have various issues. The one that annoys me the most is the bad transmission. For example, when you approach a red traffic light (what i mean is you are rolling to it so you are slowing down without braking too much) and when the light turns green and you press the accelerator so you gain speed again it takes like 7 seconds or so to actually response. This is especially annoying when you drive somewhere with a 30KPH speed limit because you are most likely to get to a complete stop before the truck does anything.
Huge respect to the German makes Mercedes Benz & MAN. But massive improvements from both DAF & IVECO. Scania deserves just as much respect as the German makes. But my own personal favourite is Volvo.
Depends on where you're driving them and what you're doing for freight. Triple road train outback Australia! Ice roads Norway, The Yukon Canada? The problem with truck of the year awards is they should be given 10 years after the fact. The 2024 award should be presented in 2034. Then we know what the best was by owner, driver, mechanic and accountants' point of view.
I am playing ETS2 with steering wheel and no cam movement so the DAF XF/XG/XG+ is currently the best because of It's display (shows fuel and sleep meter etc. right in front of you) and the cameras. I would also like the F-MAX to be in ETS2
Man I wish we had euro cabovers here in America, if at least one manufacturer was here and it was doing well I'm sure other companies would make cabovers again like how Kenworth and Freightliner are still making them in Australia
@@nemamime4922 I think there's a law that prevents that for vehicles that are not 25+ years old but I could be wrong, besides, it would be expensive and then to do the conversion on top of that to make it drive on the left of the cab would be pretty expensive, I just wish we had them here long enough to where I can at least afford a used one lol

@@Dunki113 None of these truck will comply or meet US emissions and regulations. Euro engines aren't allowed there. US trucks also tend to have less horsepower than European trucks, no more than 500hp. Axle limit restriction in the US is another thing that EU trucks can't comply the regulation either.
DAF are a Dutch company based in The Netherlands, although many years ago they bought out British Leyland based in Lancashire, North West England and have retained the plant and many of the skilled workers. DAF make a very good truck/lorry that's very popular in Europe.

FH 12 from 2005 :P got last week the 2.000.000Km on my. Not the best comfort, but all together it's good enough in every single way. Not much repair, no oxidation problem, fuel is ok, comfort is okay (with air axle)
Interior is okay and the quality is good. I think the standard is not perfect used from the pace inside but it was possible to buy or now change able to build it like Iveco with bed if u sleep or table if u get food or use computer

I agree. I have driven a 2018 Mercedes Actros. My opinion is that Germans better stay away from engineering trucks. The responsiveness of the transmission is slow. You could approach a roundabout and it wouldn't downshift until you're halfway onto it. And also the design is ugly especially the low end models. A rolling depression is what I call it. Haven't driven MAN but I'm not too positive about their design either.
