Emergency Rudder Test J120

J120 Hokulani - emergency rudder testing for 2018 Pacific Cup race.
Rudder blade and cassette by Competition Composites Inc, mounting hardware by Svendson's metal shop.
NOTE: I would not recommend this setup for heavier displacement boats. We had one built for a 33,000 pound 50' boat and it was not up to the task, resulting in failure of the blade and cassette.

The rudder and cassette were made by Competition Composites Inc. in Ontario, Canada. Super easy to work with. The metal components I had fabricated by the metal shop of a local yard. The rudder and cassette are pretty "standard", what's custom is how to attach everything to the transom.
