I don't recall having heard a better rendition of this song. People seem to forget that it mimics, sort of, the sound a feeling of an old steam engined train. They tend to over hype this song and attempt virtuosity on the fiddle and other instruments and lose sight of the feeling of the song. I give this a thumbs up.
Orange Blossom Special and Duelling Banjos are not allowed to be played at bluegrass competition.
They are such fan favorites with everyone having an opinion on how they should be played that fist fights can and have started in the audience.
CDB.
Those old steam trains can and do make their own music, if you listen. I can see why someone would write a song around one. A lot of history there.
Anyone else reading electric barracuda by tim dorsey and wanted to look up the song !? No just me ? A surprising amount of real historical facts . Nice!
James last is my favorite rendition.
Super 😂❤❤❤
I love the old music.
Beautiful music. Love it !
Qué padre música, por allá antes del medio siglo XX.
Fish Tales?
Yeah,Is The Freshwater multiball basically this music in 1.25x
There are versions with lyrics, including by the Rouse brothers, so which came first? CDB version is incredible.
I was square dancing with this music in my music class
Hank, you are amazing, my friend!
This is a favorite of mine and you did such an outstanding job with Gary's sequence.
You go man!
Don
Hi Don, thanks my friend. Hope you are in slo-mo mode for the holidays. I don't plan on doing to much over the next two weeks. Want to go visit family and just rest.... Hank

Amen to that, Brother!
HANK
A great forgotten song and the author yet they go down In History.
my grate grand father is his brother i was a rouse
Very cool 😎 Ervin is my 2nd cousin 🙂
I'm Roger Rouse's grandson and I'm my own grandpa
How about sharing the forgotten lyrics of this song here?
First time I've heard this version. Sorry, but all I hear is "Oompa Oompa Oompa" in the foreground so loud that the violins are barely heard at all and very distant in the background. I must find a way to adjust my phones and equipment as I'm sure you didn't mix this that way intentionally
yeah it ruined the whole thing for me , i want violin not "poing poing poing"
Well, i hear the same thing and i don't have any headphones, the Oompa is so bloody annoying.
Yeah I got the same. It becomes slapstick music. Kill the pong pong!
Kind of a reggae sound ...
@@kantraxoikol6914 Play through external speakers or headphones, not computer speakers...
