I don’t understand why more people don’t use higher lofted hybrids. I’m 34 with a similar driver swing speed and play: Driver 9* SIM2 Max D, 3w 16.5HL SIM2 Max, 7w 21* SIM2 Max (this was a ladies club that I had to order from Canada. Tough being a lefty), 26*/30*/34* G425 hybrids, Miura CB-801 7i/8i at 36*/40* Miura TB-901 9i/PW at 44*/48* miura LH series wedges 52/56/60 and Ping Sydney. I have confidence in my woods and hybrids. Woods all have 70g Stiff shafts, hybrids all have KBS tour prototype 85g stiff flex. Higher lofted hybrids and woods are definitely the way to go. You can spend more time focusing on your scoring clubs, anything 155+ I’m taking out a hybrid and know that it’s point and shoot to get on the green. After that I need a shaft that allows me to put a nice smooth almost 3/4ish swing on it for max control. 135-154 is 7i/8i range so I’m looking to get within a certain ring and anything inside of 130 Im going flag hunting

Great concept and video. I agree that a) going with higher lofted hybrids is a good way to go, and b) gapping becomes interesting when one does this. I was able to get down to 25 degrees with hybrids, and I'm currently testing the 2014 Adams ironwoods in the 6 and 7 slot to replace my irons (TS1-IMs). I'm thinking these might gap better than full-on hybrids (the Adams 2014 heads don't have bulge and roll, and are more compact than even their own really small head hybrids). I have also, however, got my hands on a full-on Adams 6 hybrid that I'm going to go toe to toe with the ironwoods.

What shaft would the f max hybrid have in it? You should swap shafts in f max and the rad speed and see if that’s where the spin increase is coming from. Might be the loft of the f max being a ladies as well. I think I see some places posting it at 32* of loft. Fun experiment nonetheless

It is a Dynamic Gold with Sensicore S300 at 37.5" length. I would say that shaft should play stiffer and help generate lower spin than the XP100 in the radspeed. I think the F Max's center of gravity is such a way that it really generates a lot of launch and spin with my swing dynamics.
