just fyi... there is a bleeder for the radiator on the back side on top of the engine on the passenger side. Use this to help bleed the air out of the radiator. Also after running the car for 10 minutes let it cool down completely and then check the radiator levels. Most likely you will need to add more coolant. Awesome video!! I will be using it later this month on my sons 350z. Keep up the great work!!
Super helpful!, Thanks man! I used an aftermarket radiator form Autozone and boy was it a nightmare to get the condensor to hang in the notches of the radiator. I was installing it in the dark, but I found reaching under to help align them the only way to get them aligned well.
Hey good morning i have a question, i think I messed up my radiator keeps coming out like it’s loose and im not sure what I did wrong are you able to give me any tips ?
LifeTac well I changed the radiator today and everything went down hill. I followed all the steps and my car was over heading I tried to bleed the air out but it did not work and the heater does not work it blows cold air.. Let me know if you have any idea what I did wrong thanks!
Noel Memije well there is still air in the system. When you start it let it run for a couple minutes then drive it and open up the throttle to push out any air. As for the heater once you properly bleed the system it should blow hot again
My mechanic just did the radiator for me. He didn’t even have to take off the engine support bar and the engine cover🤷🏼♂️ why did u take those off? Thanks for the video though! I’m just glad the front bumper didn’t have to come off too lol
How many miles on the car? My Nismo has 27k miles on her and has developed a radiator leak...seems kinda way early for my car to be getting a radiator leak imo.
The stock radiators aren’t that great if you couldn’t tell. Numerous people have cracked radiators on the ends near the radiator hoses. Also, if you live where it’s super hot most of the year, it’ll almost be guaranteed to fail in the first 60k if you actually drive your car. Replace it with a Koyo or CSF radiator. Mishimoto’s are hit or miss. Do your research in them.
hey bro, imma do mine later on today, round 2 type shii... my radiator I'm replacing is a koyo, the aluminum on lower driver side had a microscopic hole or two, in other words I'm going back to stock, I was wondering what you recommend me to do once it is back on with the transmission cooler hoses
I tried putting the radiator back on and it just scrapes on the sides and against the condenser like how tf did you put that back in to easily this car is slowly making me lose interest in ever owning it again now i need a new condenser cause its scraped and bashed due to me having to try to forcw the radiator in why does the radiator not go in smooth why does it have to scrape againt the fucking coolant resevoir bracket
I need to replace my ac condenser, is it the same process ? Do I have to remove the radiator and drain the coolant? I know that I have to recover the ac Freon but I’m not so sure if I need to remove the radiator
I hope you didn't use that bottled drinking water in the radiator. Notice if your vehicle is overheating driving it like a mad mad man likely will not alleviate the issue
I dont understand how you got the radiator into the holes where boot is im try and it just the biggest pain in the ass ive ever seen it does not make sense how the radiator is supposed to go back in i try putting it on mounts and the. The holes on top dont fucking line up
massive thanks, my radiator killed itself this week. Great guide, seems easier than I actually expected.

Lmao have your kid do it gramps
I’m gonna tackle this tomorrow, first time doing a radiator replacement.
Thank you

Blew my radiator yesterday will now be able to fix it a day after from your help thank you!💯
do you have to top off the transmission fluid that leaked out?
Good job i have a 2003 with the same problem! What kind of antifreeze should i use on the car ! Where did you get the radiator
I wish you guys would do a video ,current updated on How too Replace the Fan Switch on a 350 Z , Nissan
When installing the new one does the radiator slide into little tabs and lock in?
Really good video my man👍🏽
Pretty good thanks for the info the videos goes great😅😅😅
great job, have my Mishimoto radiator, fan, hoses on the way
love that autozone hat lol got myself one a few days ago
Moises Solano dude these hats are amazing I have like 6 of them
What to do about that oil that drained out when you took off the radiator
Just try to top it off my boi, that’s what I did it wasn’t that much oil that was let out from the houses.
@@JSeriezJayyit’s just transmission fluid that comes out?
We did all this to a tie. It started over heating
What does that mean?
Thanks!! Excellent!!
Hey good morning i have a question, i think I messed up my radiator keeps coming out like it’s loose and im not sure what I did wrong are you able to give me any tips ?
Is it completely put back together?
Thanks for the video bro this really helped!
Noel Memije you're very welcome! I'm glad it helped out
LifeTac quick question for the transmission hose does alot of oil come out? Do I need to top it off with more oil after
Noel Memije no you'll be okay not much comes out

Thanks for the education brother

He did it to have some wiggle room. You don’t necessarily need to remove it but it’ll make the job easier.
Is it just me or does the guy in the black shirt remind anybody of Johnny Bravo 😆
Thanks a lot for this video bro
Help me tons
Thanks

I change it to a new one and now started leaking 😢😢😢(the new one) and overheating
Check all your connections make sure they are tight. And bleed the system
Yes maybe the two cooler lines
was your radiator leaking on top? would this be same with a 2007 radiator
MidCali831 I know the the 07 Z changed over to an HR motor it should be exactly the same but not entirely sure
Yeah its basically the same. It may be a little different depending if you have manual or auto transmission. I am replacing mine this weekend.

Yes you do need to remove the radiator to get to the condenser
Might be my reason for overheating, regardless, very well made video guys!!!
Thanks for the positive feedback we really appreciate it! And yes if your radiator is leaking it very well may be the issue.
Thank you so much very helpful
Hi Bro u car is automatic ? Or manual ?
I hope you didn't use that bottled drinking water in the radiator. Notice if your vehicle is overheating driving it like a mad mad man likely will not alleviate the issue
How can I cap off the cooling line nipples?
4:19 did u jus get punched on minecraft bruh
Lmaooo

I know this sounds stupid but you could potentially have bought a different radiator. There’s 2 different motors the HR motor is 07+
But it might be the same radiator not 100% sure
Ya you didn’t need to remove the bar at the beginning lol
You also don’t need to wear socks but you wear them right?
Yours Auto or manual?
This 350z was automatic
You can tell it's an automatic because of the lower cooler lines
@@geeaye64 so if it's manual it doesn't have the cooling lines ?
Correct but you can still put auto rad in man car it won't leak from those 2 spigots
