Adam is just remarkable. He ought to be a lot more famous. Nobody could persuade me that Harry Styles has more talent than him. His performance of Cher's "Believe" at the 41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors will almost bring you to tears. He is just a phenomenal talent who was never given the credit he deserved.

I honestly can't remember another male singer in my 62 years who can match the sheer talent of Adam Lambert, nor his range, nor his charisma. I loved Freddie... but, I think Adam will eclipse him during his lifetime.. Watching him sing those notes tonight with Jennifer just blew my mind ! Bravo Adam, and Bravo Jennifer.. You both have forged absolutely STELLAR careers... not something that usually comes out of reality singing competitions! Bravo !!!
I personally enjoy Adam's singing more than Freddie''s and I'm 61 so I experienced Queen growing up as well. I think Adam has a slightly better vocal range but not by much. I just find it much more intense to listen to him then Freddie. As far as record sales it's hard to compare because Freddie didn't have a huge solo career in terms of time. The sales with Queen speak for themselves. As far as charisma goes, Adam seems much more relatable to as a person but they are both fantastic frontmen. When Freddie was doing the things he was it was so rare so he was a trailblazer for sure. I don't think there's a better singer on the planet today than Adam. The only other person I can think of who was Pitch Perfect every single time he sang and could hit very high and very low notes with quick changes was George Michael. Those that worked with him said he was perfect every night when performing. Very different styles of music though. We are blessed to have all of them and their vocal talents and artistry.
Don't forget Don Williams. He had good range too and he was a country singer all the way. But he never sang anything I didn't love. He was unique & had a sound all his own. God bless him for his contribution to the world. I am 79, nearly 80, so I have heard everything from Buttons And Bows to Bohemian Rhapsody to the music, all genres, of today. Freddie Mercury was capable of about 4 octaves, for reference. Those 3 octaves 2 notes are what Adam relies on most often in his publicly available recordings and is most well-known for rocking, but they are not the limit of his capabilities. Based on other live performances, fan recordings, and people who have worked with him behind the scenes, it's been confirmed he can at least sing every note on a 4+ octave guitar and go a little lower and higher to reach 4.5.

Incredible watching Adam Lambert fit his vocal wizardry into an aria keyed for a woman. It was just obvious that Michael Orland knew he could do it. And they sounded amazing together.

Dimash has a lovely voice and incredible range, but Adam has enormous power and versatility, can convincingly sing hard rock, pop, broadway, even country, disco, jazz, and a little opera. Brian May says his power extends to all his range. AND he’s a natural showman. I doubt Dimash could convincingly sing Stone Cold Crazy, Hammer to Fall, Enter Sandman, Whole Lotta Love, Lay Me Down, Hot Stuff, Shady….and can dance and has amazing stage presence while performing. Full package. Oh, and sexual and handsome.

I get what you are saying but I think second best male voice is more in order for Adam...I think Adam is only first if we count only human - Dimash Kudaibergen of Kazakh a guy who many think might not be be from this planet has the best male voice ..his range is F2 to D8 (6+ octaves!!!!) whereas Adam's range is still very nice and impressive is E2 to G5

Dimash has a lovely voice and incredible range, but Adam has enormous power and versatility, can convincingly sing hard rock, pop, broadway, even country, disco, jazz, and a little opera. Brian May says his power extends to all his range. AND he’s a natural showman. I doubt Dimash could convincingly sing Stone Cold Crazy, Hammer to Fall, Enter Sandman, Whole Lotta Love, Lay Me Down, Hot Stuff, Shady….and can dance and has amazing stage presence while performing. Full package. Oh, and sexual and handsome.
@@dorothyvanbrocklin2424 I have listened to Dimash and he is technically good but very much like a machine., the human factor is not there for me so I don't go back, I listen to Adam because he is awesome I am a 85 year old fan and will enjoy Adam
