For broadcast packets - can client receive the broadcast packet without the ap? Or the broadcast packet needs to be retransmitted by Ap, and i assume that both devices are connected to the AP

hello i have a hughes ht2000 connected to a satellite via coaxial cable then a cat6 cable connected to mikrotik Router Os V6bugfix installed on a desktop pc i have an unlimited data plan. the router is connect to a switch via cat5 cable which distributes signal to 15 acccess points. But my network is most times slow although my bandwidth download rate is 2mbps and upload is 1mbps. please how do i rectify this because two of my access points cable is faulty. help me out thanks.

Great video, Just one question about tx-power settings. As stated in the video set the tx-power to match the dBm for the AP used. The stated spec for the cAP ac on 2.4GHz is 22dBm for MCS7 and on 5GHz MCS7 is 20dBm. Would using those dBm settings be ok for tx-power respectively? or should I use the max stated dBm minus 2 dBm for 5GHz and minus 7dBm for 2.4GHz?

"manual-txpower" uses the maximum the hardware is capable of.
"regulatory-domain" will use maximum power in accordance to the country you've configured.

I am using the microtik LHG for airfiber internet connection. While voice call in the internet voice is breaking and getting request time out in ping after every 2-3 minutes .please help

Wish they would add an block lockout feature like watchguard to the firewall. Locks out the ankle-biter for 20 minutes or you can set the time.

Mikrotik need create a app to capsman, in winbox this is difficult, the Mikrotik hardware is wonderful but the wireless solutions not is possible due to cumbersome setup and administration
