- So in response to my previous video i asked you guys your opinion on whether a backbox delete would be worth it.

Sick. The single tips look better even though i'm a fan of quads. But i'm sure there's a beefier sounding exhaust syStem available. Congrat's on the house bro. Well done juggling it all.
Hi Mat, what's the difference been in the cabin @ both city & motorway driving? I've heard not so positive feedback. Has it messed with the O2 sensor, any droning, check engine light or any other irregularity? Keen to know now that you've had it for 7 mths. Cheers Chris
On the motorway it just sounds standard no difference at all. In the city when the dpf heats up I notice it's louder but only when you have your foot down. Doesn't mess with any sensor or change performance at all and no lights on the dash as it's only the back of which has been removed the DPF filter is still there
I have some questions:
1. What rims do you have in this video?
2. Did you dyno it before and after? Basically what you did is called a mufflerectomy and should yield some more torque and power. Saw the gains on an 3.0 TDI A6 before/after of an mufflerectomy.

What exactly did you do, just delete the muffler and straight piped it?

So this was just Muffler delete no X-Pipe to replace the resonator?

No drone at all. You can only hear the difference when your foots down

Hi. Still no issues? No dpf problems? Somebody told me could have problems as no back pressure there. I have an e350 convertible, dreaming about removing back boxes for the last month

I have a question bro i was looking for some sound on my w207 350cdi and find this video my mechanic said it would be not a good idea because in austria we have some shit laws and this would not be legal he said the car will probably smoke too .. but if they doesnt notice it on the first view it wouldnt be a problem .. does it smoke when you drive around because in the video it doesnt look like it smokes ??
No smoke at all. You are only removing the back box which effects the sound everything else is still in place

hello or changed the many and I'm very happy. And more beautiful with just one drain and it sounds good. Also make the mapping of the control unit increasing by 40, 30 kv changes all the noise of the unloaded

I’m glad you posted this vid mate, I have a white w207 350cdi coupe same as yours. I was wondering about deleting my rear silencers. The original oval tips look better.
The exhaust note will sound deeper when the dpf is regenerating, which is what you are noticing with the change in exhaust note.

Mat Armstrong yes mate the esl is a common fault, it’s just a case of changing the lock and having it coded to your key. Haven’t done one myself yet but have heard of them giving problems

George any views on same model that I have with an oil leak.. one mechanic said it’s the sump pump the other wirh way less experience says it’s the cooler seals?

Get the dpf off, or atleast emptied and put back on for mot purpose, egr blanked off and will be mint
Is there any way to get a near sounding gargle sound as the C63? If not then I'll wait to upgrade.

New tips better you might have gained a bit of power from the back box delete my audi v6 tdi gain 15 bhp from just a backbox delete

Newer cars be like that. Wont let rev past certain rpm when in park or out of gear
I have a 2016 E250 bluetec (W212) its a 4 cylinder diesel would a muffler delete sound good ?
They make them quiet on purpose omissions and that
