I’m 43 and have seen this more times than I can count. That being said, if you look closely while Buzz is shoveling the food into his mouth, it looks to be the cheese from the last piece of cheese pizza. Buzz and probably the curly haired cousin with glasses who was in Buzz’s room when they were talking about old man Marley ate it.
That kinda doesn't make sense when the cam pans ro buzz he's intentionally looking at kevin in a mocking way knowing he's the main one who ears cheese pizza which is why kevin asked if they got him a plain cheese. It's kinda made obvious Buzz is that older brother constantly messing with him and getting him in trouble
14:15 Nope. That's a boy in a wig. The director did this because he didn't want to ruin a girl's life by having her face be remembered as the ugly girl in home alone
Home Alone 1 & 2 and every version of the Grinch are my holiday favorites. FYI They did use stunt doubles in the first movie but Joe Pesci told People Magazine that he did many of his own stunts while filming Home Alone 2 and got burned in one scene: “I did sustain serious burns to the top of my head during the scene where Harry's hat is set on fire.”
I love that you pointed out how the house is spotless the next morning. How did Kevin get everything cleaned up so fast? Especially the roofing tar on the basement steps? Did Old Man Marley help him? The hours I've spent pondering this...🤔
I've heard that the picture of Buzz's girlfriend was actually a picture of a boy in a wig. They didn't want to make fun of an overweight girl, so they put a wig on a boy instead.
This movie plus part two and rounded off with the 1990s Miracle on 34th street are a total mood reset. I loved this commentary, I wish more people did them instead of just blind reactions. You guys have really raised the bar this year with reactions and commentaries and you both deserve a Christmas full of wonder and I cannot wait to see what you have in store in the future ❤
At 37:37 u ask "what is that" and it is a briquette lighter or heater for your BBQ. Very popular back in the 60s and 70s before kerosine was used and then of course gas bbqs.
The ornaments are the worst of the non-fatal injuries because it would be impossible to remove all the microscopic pieces, so you'd be feeling the glass in your feet for a long time until they come out on their own.
I still love these moves kevin use to clear and read the whole family and they deserved it everytime. I get there was alot of kids and alot going on but the fact they was dking kevin like that always pissed me off like me and Buzz would have been fighting EVERYDAY.😂
I saw this in theaters when it came out! I was 13 and saw it with my mom and her bf. The audience was packed and everyone was laughing, cheering, and having an amazing time. Still one of my best movie theater experiences. Also, gentlemen, your son was SO adorably distracting. The purring and leaning into you was TOO MUCH!
Yesssss ❤❤❤❤. I actually remember cutting class back in High School during winter and went straight to Central Park and made my friends go in to the Plaza Hotel location were they filmed this pretending we were looking for a room 😂😂😂😂😂
Kate and Peter's children are Kevin, Buzz, Megan, Linnie and Jeff. Frank and Leslie's children are Fuller, Brooke, Sondra, Rod and Tracy. Heather is Rob and Georgette's daughter.
My brain is still in awe of of how many years it has been since this has come out. My mom and I were talking about this recently. Also Catherine O'Hara was in so many iconic films during that time as well. ❤
FUN FACT- the director did not want to make a young girl feel sad or insecure for using their picture as buzz girlfriend. So they dressed the directors Son as a girl instead
And I actually have 5 siblings! Lol I'm almost 33 and the oldest of 6. My youngest sibling is 12 who is a year younger than MY oldest child! My mom is 48 and my dad just turned 50! 😅Big families be wildin' yall lol
@John_Locke_108 That's how it was for my grandma! She is 1 of 9 and the middle child. Lol. She grew up on a farm and had a twin brother. It's only her and her baby brother now.
My head canon is after a successful Marv and Harry prison reform sentence, he teamed up with them and started a home security business making them all millionaires, and now they don't have to rob houses anymore. I just always thought after being humbled by carrying out their prison sentence, Kevin would help the the same way he helped Marley and the Pigeon Lady.
The newest movie has a cop camieoing as a MaCallister never watched it so not sure who it was or if it tied into the family in the first movie but they show the badge of the officer with his last name on it
I just started watching your channel a week ago with your Christmas Vacation reaction. I said “YES!” when I saw you just released a Home Alone reaction. More Christmas Movies!
I love that you guys are so versatile ❤ it’s not all about horror on this channel. I absolutely love and adore you both for reacting to my fav childhood film 🎄🎅 Chey & Wes all day 💅
I’ve also watched this movie uncountable times. Its probably my all time favorite movie…It’s a Christmas tradition at our household to watch Home Alone! And I go through the exact same thoughts and emotions as you guys 🥹🥰 Me and my 12 year old son also can’t help but quote the iconic lines every time we watch it 😂
I loveddd watching along with y’all! This movie makes me cry, I think more bc I wish I could have had a family like this rather than it being holiday themed
Since you like this movie, you wanna check out the 1985 movie Santa Claus the movie it’s starring Dudley Moore. I think thats his name he’s the elf and John Lithgow playing the bad guy and I can’t remember the gentleman that plays Santa Claus but it’s really good.
I love the first two movies. They are my favorite and poor Kevin always got the short day end of the stick. He didn't do anything wrong. He just wanted a piece of cheese pizza! Buzz was always the problem.
Love love love the Home Alone movies, reminds me that I've gotta get to sitting my butt down and watching a few Christmas movies. I think the only well-regarded movie I haven't seen for the Halloween/Christmas season has been I've...never...watched... Nightmare Before Christmas.
I mean I think she was just worried about an 8 year old being there alone. She stopped asking when he didn't give his address so I think she was making sure he knew not to give that info and if he had given it she was probably going to call 911 for a wellness check.
Kevin is the scapegoat of his family and I will forever die on that hill, that's the only reason my favourite home alone is the third one, the family aren't abusers
I saw a behind the scene clip that said he did have to spend lots of time with her cause they couldn't use a fake spider since at the time they could not make it look real enough
LOL, I'm an only child, but my mom came from a family of 10 kids. Even though I've always wished I had a sibling, I don't fault her for only having one. My mom was number 6 in the 9 girls and one boy. I know she got left at the Del Mar Fair once when she was elementary school age. When My grandparents drove all the way back to get her she was still sitting on a bench waiting for them to finish in the bathroom. The kicker is that one of my mom's sisters noticed that my mom wasn't in the car and never even said anything. I guess she was just hoping my grandparents would just leave my mom there.
I’m the youngest of six kids lol. It was chaotic but not as much as in this movie. I always appreciate how many siblings I had because I was socialized like crazy 😂 older brothers were a whole time
37:35 in the shitty Home Sweet Home alone movie, its confirmed Kevin has his own security company. And has this tradition where he makes a crank call to the cops about being home alone. Its a crank call because now his brother is a cop.
have you seen Thanksgiving directed by Eli Roth it came out last year it's scream/I know what you did last summer like slasher horror about Thanksgiving and a tragic event
You boys should react to the movie Better Watch out starring Levi Miller. Its a christmas movie, and its horror and one of the teen boys says "Youre gonna home alone him?"
I have 5 sisters. So there’s 6 of us girls. And it was crazy lol. And my mom raised us all herself. It was fun though. Lots of bickering over who was gonna use the phone, and taking each other’s clothes.
The dad wasn't paying for everyone it was his brother who moved to Paris that did he wanted to treat them to a holiday so the family would b together since there would be less time afterwards
2 things from me if u r doing the second one will u do the other 4 movies they made after also no body seems to catch that they throw away at least one ticket and bordering pass which only adds to them not noticing that they had an extra ticket when giving them to the person
It has always bugged me, the inconsistency of the phones. When they were leaving for the airport the technician said it was a mess and it would take them a few days to clear up yet later that day they when they landed in Paris they were calling everyone in the neighborhood. Wouldn't the phones be out for everyone in the neighborhood? If the phone lines were down Kevin's dad wouldn't have been able to leave a message the 2nd day. Then Kevin ordered Pizza. He would have had to call in the order. You also notice that even after that scene they mentioned the phones still being down. I also obsess over details like if the police who went to the house had even stated they were police and were sent by his parents to check on him. Of course a scared 8 year old wont answer the door when he's alone 😂. This is what my ADHD brain obsesses over but this is still my favorite Christmas movie. You guys should totally watch Saved if you haven't before. Top tier cast and Macaulay is hilarious in it 😂 great satirical look at religion as well. He was also amazing in Party Monster but that would not fly on TH-cam 😂
Heyyyy Petty Pumpkins 🎃 🎃 Love the reactions! I would like to suggest Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda’s “Yours Mine and Ours” 1968 (featuring the actor that plays the cop eating the donut “Hyper on 2” when he was young as a cashier)
I would also like to suggest Ernest Saves Christmas (I think yall reacted to it already but I’m not totally sure); the nice older lady who gives Catherine O Hara her plane ticket was actually in “Ernest Saves Christmas” as a lady who works in a Children’s Hospital

You two are the cutest and so sweet
i have a theory that buzz ordering the pizza means he never even ordered cheese pizza
Good call!
I don't think the movie mentions who put the order it to say buzz ordered it
That kinda doesn't make sense when the cam pans ro buzz he's intentionally looking at kevin in a mocking way knowing he's the main one who ears cheese pizza which is why kevin asked if they got him a plain cheese. It's kinda made obvious Buzz is that older brother constantly messing with him and getting him in trouble
We can all agree that Kevin’s family was so shitty towards him in BOTH movies. I’ll forever die on that road.
14:15 Nope. That's a boy in a wig. The director did this because he didn't want to ruin a girl's life by having her face be remembered as the ugly girl in home alone
Home Alone 1 & 2 and every version of the Grinch are my holiday favorites. From being the kid who wets the bed to being an Emmy award winner.
Christmas Classic! Also great to see Mother Catherine O Hara!
right😍
"I'VE MADE MY FAMILY DISAPPEAR!!!!"
- Kevin McCallister
I love that his brother Kieran plays his little cousin! Lol
right like when I knew it ws his brother I was so shocked🤣
I love that you pointed out how the house is spotless the next morning. How did Kevin get everything cleaned up so fast? Especially the roofing tar on the basement steps? Did Old Man Marley help him? The hours I've spent pondering this...🤔
I can guarantee you that Kevin probably cleaned up EVERY part of the house offscreen by himself. 😉🤭
#Virgovibes♍️
Leave it to Petty Pumpkins! Having a hectic day and needed a pick-me-up, and here they are!
Y’all do the ‘Home Alone’ face so well! 😂
(It’s a classic for a reason)
Today, The Wet Bandits would have been caught before entering any house! 😆
Yep! With some state of the art technology~! 🤓
I've heard that the picture of Buzz's girlfriend was actually a picture of a boy in a wig. They didn't want to make fun of an overweight girl, so they put a wig on a boy instead.

Interesting!
My anxiety has been ruthless lately, and I really enjoyed watching this. When are we doing part 2?
The ornaments are the worst of the non-fatal injuries because it would be impossible to remove all the microscopic pieces, so you'd be feeling the glass in your feet for a long time until they come out on their own.
Dude that scene still makes me cringe when I watch this movie. That shit just goes straight through me.
Daniel Stern is legit terrified of spiders so his scream was real.
Also Kevin's character is such a baby gay! 😄He's so quick with his witty responses!
He was really clearing the whole family 😂 that child was a verbal weapon.
I still love these moves kevin use to clear and read the whole family and they deserved it everytime. I get there was alot of kids and alot going on but the fact they was dking kevin like that always pissed me off like me and Buzz would have been fighting EVERYDAY.😂

Kate and Peter's children are Kevin, Buzz, Megan, Linnie and Jeff. Frank and Leslie's children are Fuller, Brooke, Sondra, Rod and Tracy. Heather is Rob and Georgette's daughter.
The interior was a stage built inside a school gymnasium.
The real house has a super narrow street in front of it.
Fuller seems waaaay to excited make Kevin a victim of his bladder problem.
“ Keep the change ya filthy animal. “ 😆
Definitely can’t wait to watch Home Alone 2: Lost In New York with ya’ll. 🎅🏻🎄
My brain is still in awe of of how many years it has been since this has come out. My mom and I were talking about this recently. Also Catherine O'Hara was in so many iconic films during that time as well. ❤
34 years!
I believe Buzz's girlfriend was the art director's son in a wig! Lol
Yes! Because they didn't want to inflict the stigma of being an ugly chick to a real girl and ruin her self esteem
@FiercedeityBrad Yes!!!
I Love Home Alone, love love love it.
right😍
you guys should watch The Good Son[1993]!
12:32 the mom is a designer
According to the most recent home alone kevin grew up to own a home security company
My favorite Christmas movie that was played in my city Chicago
Theres a conspiracy theory that the tall guy behind Catherine O'Hara in the airport check in scene in Scranton is Elvis Presley in disguise 😆
I've got 5 siblings as well but that's nothing compared to my dad. 10 sisters and 2 brothers.
@John_Locke_108 That's how it was for my grandma! She is 1 of 9 and the middle child. Lol. She grew up on a farm and had a twin brother. It's only her and her baby brother now.
Need an update of what Kevin McCallister is up to today!!!!! I’m kind of scared to know 🙈
There’s a theory he grows up to become Jigsaw.

@@Gotamoona the cop was Buzz.
@@CalebRay1-c9j cool thanks
I just started watching your channel a week ago with your Christmas Vacation reaction. I said “YES!” when I saw you just released a Home Alone reaction. More Christmas Movies!
Fun Fact: the actor who plays Officer Balzak is Larry Hankin, who also played Mr. Heckles on “Friends”
29:47 tiny kitty alert! ❤
The heartwarming Christmas tale of how a kid learned he has a talent for violence, the origin story of a future serial killer 😇
I love that you guys are so versatile ❤ it’s not all about horror on this channel. I absolutely love and adore you both for reacting to my fav childhood film 🎄🎅
Chey & Wes all day 💅
Speakin of siblings, my father had 7 brothers and sisters. Needless to say hes gone to prison a few times
37:22 the three options 😂
Hard to believe that this is same Macaulay Caulkin from Party Monster
42:58 that line was improvised!
Ahhhh one of my favs - you guys are the BEST for reacting to it and giving me an excuse to take a break from work, watch, and enjoy! ❤
I’ve also watched this movie uncountable times. Its probably my all time favorite movie…It’s a Christmas tradition at our household to watch Home Alone!
And I go through the exact same thoughts and emotions as you guys 🥹🥰
Me and my 12 year old son also can’t help but quote the iconic lines every time we watch it 😂
i have 7 siblings and christmas is literally as hectic as it is in home alone every single year lmao
LOL. I have 30 first counsins. As kids we always went to the grandparents for Christmas eve. Definitely hectic.
Wes looks so much like a grown up fuller😂😂❤❤
Had SUCH a crush on Macaulay Culkin as a kid, between this and My Girl, oooh.
YAY!! I loved this reaction!! Cannot WAIT for the second one’s reaction!!!! 😍😍😍😍
Merry Christmas Ya filthy animals!!! 🎄
I loveddd watching along with y’all! This movie makes me cry, I think more bc I wish I could have had a family like this rather than it being holiday themed
PLEASE DO HOME ALONE 2! Love yooouuu
Since you like this movie, you wanna check out the 1985 movie Santa Claus the movie it’s starring Dudley Moore. I think thats his name he’s the elf and John Lithgow playing the bad guy and I can’t remember the gentleman that plays Santa Claus but it’s really good.
Love that one!
yesssss the best a fav 😍 recoomend it to them before hope they do
I hope you guys blur out the Orange one in the sequel
I also re-watch the second one and then immediately want to go experience Christmas in NYC.
I really enjoy crying with y'all!!😂😂😂
Your cat is so pretty. I highly recommend the movie Teeth (2007). L9ve you guys❤
I love the first two movies. They are my favorite and poor Kevin always got the short day end of the stick. He didn't do anything wrong. He just wanted a piece of cheese pizza! Buzz was always the problem.

The grocery scene is one of my favorites! The lines are fantastic but that woman was hella creepy asking where he lives
I mean I think she was just worried about an 8 year old being there alone. She stopped asking when he didn't give his address so I think she was making sure he knew not to give that info and if he had given it she was probably going to call 911 for a wellness check.
The Mother is a fashion designer and father is an architect - so, yes, they are loaded.
I believe Kevin's father is a day trader and his mother is a fashion designer
Kevin is the scapegoat of his family and I will forever die on that hill, that's the only reason my favourite home alone is the third one, the family aren't abusers
A classic with friends
43:29 hes not actually screaming! He couldn’t, so as to not scare the spider.
He saved it up for the sound booth, and just let it out.
I saw a behind the scene clip that said he did have to spend lots of time with her cause they couldn't use a fake spider since at the time they could not make it look real enough
We so need the 2nd one reaction ❤❤❤ loved this one
love you guys keep up the good work sending good vibes
I love this movie ! Please watch part 2 as well ? Kevin is such a hero xx
LOL, I'm an only child, but my mom came from a family of 10 kids. Even though I've always wished I had a sibling, I don't fault her for only having one. My favorite Macaulay Culkin movie would have to be Uncle Buck. He's absolutely adorable in that movie❤
Can't forget Cool Running
I’m the youngest of six kids lol. It was chaotic but not as much as in this movie. I always appreciate how many siblings I had because I was socialized like crazy 😂 older brothers were a whole time
aww one of my fav Christmas 3 movies😍 everything❤🎄 please watch elf and yes chey and Wes the music always will do it🥺
yall should do Your Monster (2024) it starts Melissa Barrera and it’s soooooo mf good 😭😭 i know yall will love it
My fav christmas movie❤
6 of us (5 siblings) - wild growing up since we were all only one year apart each. lol def tons of fights
I ❤this movie because it’s a Christmas comedy gold
37:35 in the shitty Home Sweet Home alone movie, its confirmed Kevin has his own security company. And has this tradition where he makes a crank call to the cops about being home alone.
Its a crank call because now his brother is a cop.
My secret is I always had a crush on marv🌚🤫
I love this movie 😊

It's a Mystery what the dad does for work to pay for eeveryone's flights to Paris and back to Chicago
The dad wasn't paying for everyone it was his brother who moved to Paris that did he wanted to treat them to a holiday so the family would b together since there would be less time afterwards

now please react to the commentary on this by CinemaSins and say which points they make do you agree with 😉🙃
actually I think Harry is smart but Marv makes him more stupid in their actions but Kevin is smarter
I have 6 siblings and it was bananas but fun too lol but my dad is the 18th child. so you can imagine how many cousins I have lol
привеееет
I want to fight uncle Frank
