I'm absolutely loving the S24 Plus! No regrets on not going Ultra this year, Everything you want nothing you don't need
Battery life is excellent with the S24+, much better than the P8Pro I had. Routinely get 7-8 hrs of SOT with the S24+, rarely got more than 5-6 with the P8Pro.
😂 OnePlus is still proving you don't have to spend over $1,000 on a smartphone and don't have to play increasing price games
I have been a long-time subscriber. Great video just upgraded from the time V60 I should feel right at home, but long live LG.
I really think for the S24 lineup, the Plus is the one to get. Upgraded to 2k screen and 12gb ram, unless you want the spen and the extra telephoto, the plus wins. Also, samsung should have kept the 10x periscope lens and changed the 3x zoom to a 4x zoom
I picked up the S24+ instead of the Ultra and I have been really satisfied!
I like what Samsung did this year with the S24 series. Why compare the S24 Ultra to the the pro max. True, same price and 5x zoom, but the Ultra is a unique shape, has a stylus, larger screen. The Ultra really can't be evenly compared. Samsung juiced up the S24+ and that is now the fair comparison to Apple's flagship.
I got the 23 ultra and its slippery as fuck and doesnt fill good in the hand which sucks..bit the 2

The problem is that in my country only the ultra is with Snapdragon.
Hey J. I had the Google Pixel 8 Pro, but the phone's battery was pretty bad.....had it almost 2 mo's.
Was a little laggy as well....cameras were great but couldn't deal with the slight lag and poor battery life....went with the S24+....LOVE IT....
Getting this with say a Galaxy Tab S8 from last year is a pretty solid combination to offset any buyers remorse from not getting an Ultra I think.
Battery life is ridiculously good for my use. Thought I was going to miss the S-Pen, but not really (probably pick up a Tab S9+)😊

I think an Ultra FE would sell better than a normal FE model. A lot of people want the Ultra minus the bulk. They could use the S22 Ultra camera sensors, 1080p screen, glasstic back & 6.3inch display w/120hz, Snap/8 Gen 2, S-Pen & square design for $699.99. It'd be essentially the Galaxy equivalent to the normal sized Pro iPhone. That's what we want the S23 FE was basically a hyped A54. We need another device with the S-Pen Samsung!!
Its a good phone for sure, but the pwm dimming on the phone is killing my eyes in low brightness 😢
I had the same problem when I tried the s24 ultra, I had to always turn down my brightness did it get better?
@@HunnyLove_ Nope. It is related to the pwm dimming. I had a work around which is to enable extra dim feature at night, and increase the brightness of screen more, the extra dim feature adds a layer of filter to dim the screen so u wont get blinded by the bright screen, and the increasing the brightness of screen will increase the pwm of the screen. However, this phone only has 492hz pwm dimming though

I just got the regular size s24 and the battery life is pretty good for it being the smallest device.
J Will I gotta question for you! For the Armor suit screen protectors (the wet installs), are you able to lift the protectors up after a while and reapply them? Or once I lift it, it's done?
I've lifted a lot of them, and they apply back. But that was only the initial install, but I've never done it after they have been applied for longer than a day or so.
@@smartphoneconversations thanks brotha. I think I'm gonna leave it on as is and once it's finished I'll reapply another. It's been a couple days now. Oh, and we gotta see a Pixel 8/8 Pro vs the S24 series!

Yo next year if they give the plus the 5x optical then I will skip the ultra for sure. I don't need the 100 but 50x and having the 50mp and 5x optical will be clutch. Leave the 200mp and 100x for the ultra but the plus needs that 50mp and 5x optical
And the battery just gets better
they gave me 850 $ CAD for my old S21 Ultra and got the S24 plus 512gb for 650 CAD and free buds pro .. awesome deal !

Tried all 3 of S24 series , S24 feels awesome in the Hand & So does the S24+ 😀 I have medium size hands ✋️
And to be honest if i hand bigger hands i really think the S24 Ultra is still uncomfortable in the hand.
Just feels really sharp along the side of the phone!
So if you have small or medium hands ✋️ dont think about the S24 Ultra.
Also think about trting to fit a phone of that size in your pants eaither jeans or jogging pants!
Or a jacket with not so deep pockets. 😉
If you have doubts about what phone feels best in the hand go to the store and test them out first!!!
