I would rather choose s24 as they all are same and unable to tell difference in picture quality from either camera s24 series. I think s24 worth buying and for me it's value for money.
Thank you for the test! I'm lucky, because i can choose either of them (company provide them), and i almost choose the regular S24, because of the size. Its just fit to my pocket better, and perfect for my needs. BUT: As i know, the exynos GSM modems are poorly designed. Especially when you use them on poor network connectivity. (Wifi is ok tough) You said that the S24+ can survive more than two days, so i assume you use it mostly on wifi. Just try it out: disable wifi for few days and go hiking, use google maps, initiate video calls trough 4g... My bet is: S24+ has better cooling and battery than S24, so probably it can survive more than one day but i do not expect 2.5... Please try it out, i'm really curious... +1: If you have a surface that is between 30-35 celsius, and initiate a video call on 4G , can it survive for ~20 minutes without overheating? Thank You!
I did, I went for the S24+ it's a great phone, upgraded from the S22 Ultra for many reasons, mainly the upgrades in the system and not using the full functions anymore of the S22U. Thanks for the video.
I can't believe you only have 2k subscribers! very well made video and i appreciate your comments on the performance of the s24+. The ultra is a great phone but i returned mine as i didn't use the s-pen or really need it and i don't use cameras often so i don't need the best cameras plus the size even after one week was very awkward and heavy it fit in none of my tiny pockets! I have ordered the s24+ Exynos variant here in Scotland 😊I have held a plus before and although it's still big it's very comfortable to hold and use it doesn't feel awkward in the hand. Thank you for this review 😊
I run this channel since October 2023 so I'm slowly growing 😄 But I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! I can't totally understand your decision, I actually using the S24 Ultra as my daily driver but I'm also thinking about getting a smaller and lighter smartphone. Did you already received your S24 +?
I am like you, tried the 24 ultra but the size and weight put me off. Looked at the specs of the 24 plus and was pleasantly surprised to realise that other than the exynos the differences between the two were not miles apart. The screen on the plus is just lush and the weight makes it divine. I got the marble grey and love that little silver shimmer it has. Hope you are enjoying yours.
Finally an optimistic and respectful test! Tired of seeing over the past few days only haters without arguments spitting on the Exynos. Personally comparing the 2100, and finally comparing with the SD Gen 3: it’s really big bravo! I didn't notice any drop in FPS, nor any FPS problems either ^^ thank you for your test
If I had noticed a worse performance with the S24 Plus I definitely would have talked about it, but there's no need to, I can't see any difference to the SD Gen 3 in every day life 🤷🏼♀️
I'm pleasantly surprised by the latest Exynos. Its synthetic benchmarks have come so close to the latest from Qualcomm that they might be passing them up in the near future. I think some of the pushback against Exynos comes from bad memories of the past, when there were significant differences in performance, and the differences were actually noticeable due to how bloated Samsung's Android skins were back then. Things have changed a lot. There's no perceptible difference anymore.
Nice comparison, thank you. the dynamic range of camera is better in the ultra and less over sharpen . but with some third party apps you can record smooth and natural videos with plus as well. the size and weight definetly matters. I'll go for s24 plus
Im thinking about trading in the s21fe for the s24 plus. The aspect thats causing me to hesitate is rather lacklustre cameras on the plus. Its making me think perhaps wait for the expected camera upgrades on the s25 series. Its a work phone and I work as a decorator. The s21fe has another year or two of updates I believe so no immediate urgency! Love your reviews btw! Most charming!
Hello from prague, planing to move from S 20 fe To S 24 plus, looks amazing devise in your hand , my S 20 fe still in excellent condition with good camera and much more I think it will be good gift to my 10 years old son 😊
Middle child here, but my brain doesn’t run off Exynos 😆😆 and I’ve been burned before here in the U.K. Had to go with the Ultra. So close to getting the plus though, very nearly the same phone. Both great. 😊
Im currently selling my ultra and switching to plus. Square corners and size are to awkward. I never use the pen, and plus camera can handle everything i need. Love the rounded corner in hand. Tha k you for your videos :)
Good vid. I don't take many photos but the ultra seemed to have stronger beautifying on selfies, ironing out facial features. The plus seemed quite poor in night vision, losing background features completely. But again I'm not a camera expert.
Samsung was to make that 3X optical camera to a periscope one to get a proper in-sensor crop and clean up all the 30X Zoom on the phone. A thousand dollars phone with no periscope camera?
I chose an S23 Plus over the Ultra and have no regrets. I'd never use the stylus (I don't have your neat handwriting!) and I dislike the sharp corners. I'll get an Ultra when they round the corners; maybe S25?
Probably a stupid question, but I have a S20+ which I've been using for 3 years now, and it's still in perfect condition. I am however tempted to upgrade to the S24+ Do you reckon it's worth it? Are there really sufficient benefits in terms of tech etc to justify the upgrade? Does the S24+ outshine the S20+ in all aspects, or should I just stick with it and wait for the S25 or even S26 line? Thanks for the awesome and informative video. I am now a subscriber ❤
I'm also wondering what happened there the Ultra is supposed to use the middle part of that 50mp 5x optical zoom apply a bunch of software enhancements to create the 10x zoom and that 10x zoom on the plus is digital zoom .
I'm in the US, and am lucky to get the Snapdragon processor with my s24+. Do you know the reason why Samsung uses different processors in the same phone, by region?
Two supplier rule. Samsung electronics and Samsung Foundry (chip builder) are two separate divisions. Samsung Electronic is like most major companies and go back to the old Texas Instrument rule of having and maintaining relationships with a least two suppliers to ensure a strong supply chain. Same reason why major laptop builders use both AMD and Intel.
