    Ordered my jump rope yesterday😍 I will be doing your workouts on your TH-cam channel and then I will start your new workout program when it comes out next Monday! I will be turning 46 this month on the 25th of this month. I gave birth to my 3rd child this year in a April and then was diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy ( heart failure due to pregnancy). I have been doing HIIT workouts and weight training. Started to incorporate jump rope into my HIIT workouts and love jump roping. So glad I found your channel. I'm hoping I can lose the last 30 pounds doing your workouts!

    Man I'm about 280lbs now. I use to be heavier back in the day like 320lbs. Difference between then and now is I've built a ton of muscle over the years. These last 2 years after a big move from Cleveland to Arizona, I've done very minimum exercise. Im going to start this, I'm older now with less energy and even less because of my weight, and I've never ever needed motivation to work out but it seems that has changed. I'm going to feel like a weirdo stalker watching every video on this channel man🤣🤣.

    Jump Rope Dudes,
    This would really sound funny, but this was the trick introduced to me by my mother a few months back.
    Let me share my story:
    I am 26 and have been an active chad till 23. Later as I moved into IT job, a lot of sitting took over me, with stress. Lately, I started taking a dancing session (because I love to dance), but with the movement and work lost the momentum there too. Finally met people, who introduced me to diets like KETO and Low Carb Diets. It worked wonders for me. I lost around 10 kgs in 2.5 months.
    The worst nightmare came into the picture, as my responsibilities grew and I did not get chance to hit the Gym again, forget about maintaining the diet.
    Today, I am 15Kgs more from Jan 2017. Not just plumpy, but losing hair and confidence.
    Trust me I haven't taken any medical tests, as all points to my weights.
    Sharing my story here would be a laughter at some point, but honestly, I can't go back to Gym, as I don't enjoy it there, may it be HIIT or weight lifting. I like exercising in open.
    It indeed takes long to make something your habit. I started a little of jogging and Jump rope (200-250 reps) just 2 days back.
    Diet is something I am still working on, but these videos in past 3 days have transformed my mentality.
    thank you, guys... Hope I will share my results soon...
    please do share your official page, if any.

    I started my journey not long ago and haven’t been so consistent. I really want the cross rope but I haven’t done it enough to justify it.
    I’m 155 and need to cut down to 125 for a Muay Thai fight I have in March (I’m 5ft 5inch tall). I will use jump roping to help leaning out. I bulked for 3 months and trained hard, now I need to make weight!
    Wish me luck!

    hi dan,I am inspired by you guys. I started jumping rope a couple of months ago.
    But, I only know how to do regular bounce. May I know if I do all my workout with just regular bounce, will I still get the results? Or must i try to master other more advanced jump rope techniques?
    Another question is, is endurance style (jumping rope non stop for like 10 to 15mins) or interval style (30secs + 10secs repetition) is a better cardio exercise for loosing weight?

    • @JumpRopeDudes
      @JumpRopeDudes  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeup! Stick to the step that you are best at, so you can skip without tripping up.
      We like HIIT but long intervals are great too! Mix it up!

    man im currently into aesthetic bodybuilding, so keeping a low % body fat is a must, that's why i do HIIT cardio 5 times a week and lift 6 times a week. I tried lots of HIIT workouts but i gotta say jump rope is the most fun (though just as tiring)

I feel stronger, I can tell my body is slowly changing. I loss two pounds already the crazy thing is that now, that I am working out I am automatically making better decisions in my diet. I am also running once a week.

    hey Zen Dude Fitness, love your videos they are so clean and cool to watch. Got a question though; I am doing many workouts using the jump rope and rowing machine but i am not sure what and how much I should be eating to reduce my body fat %. After a workout I am unsure u refuel up by eating a decently sized quantity of carbs and protein or to almost "starve" and eat little.
    Thanks and great videos guys!

    • @JumpRopeDudes

      Jeff baker - Our bodies NEED FUEL! The problem is that many of us give it much more than it needs. It's all about eating the right amount of food for YOUR body...
      punch in your numbers, then grab and app like myfitnesspal. Track your food and make sure you are eating enough (but not too little).

      often I hear when working towards achieving a lower body fat percentage and bringing out your abdominal muscles its a good idea to workout out with an empty stomach so our body uses stored fats for energy. Is this true? and sorry to bother you guys, you guys are helping me so much but after a rope workout I'm so unsure to eat carbs and proteins or to be eating fruits and veggies with no fat.

    • @JumpRopeDudes
      @JumpRopeDudes  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jeff baker - Research is so challenging to verify with the WWW these days. Can it help? Sure, but it's probably like how a having hairless legs helps an Olympic swimmer cut milliseconds off their time. If you are going to be racing your neighbor in the pool, you probably don't have to shave your legs.
      That being said we LOVE Intermittent fasting. We can argue all day about whether or not it actually helps you reduce fat levels be we know this is a FACT:
      IF is a tool that we (and many) use to allow ourselves to be constantly be in a (SMALL) calorie deficit. Over time, these results add up as our bodies become more and more lean.
      Does IF target Adipose tissue? We don't know. But it's a tool that's help 100's in our programs get the version of their body that they've always wanted.

    Hey guys, love the videos. I'm 47. I've worked steel construction for years and my body is in alot of pain. I stretch all the time but i do have back problems. Is it safe for me to jump rope? Not sure if its too much impact. Thanks.

    • @JumpRopeDudes
      @JumpRopeDudes  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Johnson - jump rope is VERY low impact... you're coming 1-2" off the ground and landing with two feet.
      Compare that to running where you are moving 8-12" vertically and 3-5 laterally and then landing on ONE foot?
      Form is important... we think jump rope is safe for most, but given your condition, we HIGHLY recommend you consult your doctor before getting started.
