I think it’s funny that Traxxas sued arrma back when the original big rock & Nero came out using similar cantilever suspension but had a slightly different chassis. Now Traxxas is building the same thing as everyone else. Why can’t we just share ideas as long as it’s not an exact copy. Suspension and chassis’s should be somewhat universal allowing all to use. It locked up behind a patent or copyright. Whoever wants to use the likeness should pay the owner of the patent a small price off of units sold using their idea. Or just a flat rate upfront. Fact is, arrma did it better and Traxxas was pissed. But now here we are and they’re using essentially the same truggie platform everyone else all use. Xrt’s are still dope af. Quick change of the electronics, spur and pinion, maybe a clutch eliminator if applicable. And then bam, a bulletproof rig.
cool man had 2 traxxas rc cars before they kinda fun but not my cup of tea in my opinion they break to easy and have to keep spending money on them to fix them when you trying to have fun
This is one of my dream RC since I saw they released it I love the idea of the mighty XMAX but lower I got my merv and slash though so I’m not to big into it but have been part of it for quite a while got my slash when I was 13 maybe younger saved all my money up for a year and a half and then got it and loved it now it pushes 70 before it flips stuff is just fun to fix and rip and I’m 19 now so the slash is pretty old Traxxas makes the perfect cars for my type of driving and playin around with them
Those dogbones better not pop out like every stock Traxxas R/C... I learned that quick about Traxxas since my first Nitro Rustler and especially my Jato... I completely rebuilt that Nitro Rustler too with pretty much all carbon fiber aftermarket parts with the stinger rear exhaust... Nothing stock was left on it when I was done... I don't know why I ever sold that thing bcuz the entire rebuild cost me like $3000
I have to restrain myself from buying this because I’ve realized my pursuit in rc toys is just an attempt to satisfy a desire to ACTUALLY drive/fly said vehicle. And satisfy it does not
