    All look great, but the green one is my favorite. Shame about the missing gauge in the other 2 trucks - messes with the symmetry of the dash somewhat - would be nice to retrofit that gauge.

    I'm surprised a company like Peterbilt (Paccar) doesn't have some way to coordinate the designs of multiple special order vehicles going to one customer. I've done special equipment options engineering for much smaller companies (bus industry) and something like that would never have happened.
    Regardless of which engineers are assigned, there should have been one person to review the designs for parity, and better still, one person should have designed the entire order. Sorry, I'm preaching to the choir.

      @Eric-uo9tt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      46k rears, 2 speed rear end. Don’t quote me but I think it’s 3.90/5.25. So can’t have full lockers

      @@Eric-uo9tt didn't see a switch for 2spds and you can get lockers on both axles just no cross lock which is usually the third switch in the lockers setup and not as common and longer to build Rockwell is only company I know that will do them but I don't like 2spd rears aux box and single ratio rears with full lockers is better and that's from experience of use . What's the advantage in having an under truck vs stack exhaust in this case. If you have the stacks why not just use them?

    • @brandonman2020
      @brandonman2020 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Under truck exhausts dont bake bugs onto the stacks bad, they'll come off way easier like the visor or mirrors. If there are any other reasons Im not sure. There was one truck I worked around that had an under exhaust and I felt like I was getting gassed out standing near it while it was idling

    • @Norm2120
      @Norm2120 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe it’s due to the high exhaust temps caused by the regen process

      @@brandonman2020 You had me a bugs. I've converted a few hundred into fossils on the front header of one of my bikes... Thanks for the info! Seems like someone should get inventive with a cutter and welder. Turn the stacks into storage for load bars or spare air/power lines and the like.

      Much less restriction, therefore better fuel economy in theory. There's like a 2' tailpipe instead of 2 8' stacks.
