We have a new 389 with 605hp and Endurant XD pro 18 speed waiting at dealer for pdi. We will be pulling 140,000lbs of double trailer grain hoppers. Looking forward to it. Have you noticed the spec weight to be a couple hundred pounds lighter, with this transmission?

Not sure how it could be lighter if the auto shift has an extra module on top to run the clutch and shift. That has to weigh more.

@@chrislovett6120 Endurant is a purpose built automated transmission with aluminum case. Not a manual with auto controls on top.

Keith, these trucks may not be the tip of the iceberg, BUT believe that freight rates, government regulations, fuel costs, & double brokering, + other variables will cause more cancellations. No doubt, other folks who missed out on the scheduling opportunities, will step in to purchase, however the days of on the ground inventory, stock units, may be closer than anticipated. Those days were more fun, hard to deny .

We have 6 trucks in stock now because of cancellations. No doubt it will slow down. I am ready to get back to the days where I have to go out and turn over rocks to find a truck deal. The last few years a monkey could sell trucks. If you could answer a phone you could sell a truck. I am ready to get back to having to SELL trucks instead of taking orders.

With the chassis steps, though the factory insisted upon rear cab grab bars, are they still there❓ Thought dealer was prohibited from removing those grab bars 🚛❓

Dealer is prohibited. Those steps were added. And yes, I am looking forward to having stock trucks again someday! Much more fun than this allocation garbage.
