I spent over 60 hours in that game getting all the achievements. I actually found it to be quite good compared to many FPS shooters today. I am also very surprised about the amount of bugs you've encountered as I around the same amount in total over the 60 hours of gameplay and mind-numbing grinding.
I needed to play the Main story 4 TIMES for the PLATIN TROPHY, because there were 1-2 GAMEBREAKING BUGS in 1-2 playthroughs. Was it worth it? Freaking YES. I'm one of the 0.1% who endured all the pain, and who were PERSISTENT. Outside of that, I waited for the Game since the trailer, and I was hyped. It's one of the best Atmospheres I Experienced. The ground ideas are sick, like green, yellow, and red zones, typcial side stuff to do, and certain OSTs are really good. I played the COOP-MODE, and I was often the best in points. I played a certain LMG (forgot the name) and my aim was like on point too, Because I freaking felt this Game & COOP-Mode, playing with other players to fullfill the Theme of this Game: "As Resistance".

I actually slept on this game for so long. When I properly played it, I loved it. Yes, the story was pretty short, but the customisation was incredible. What I loved even more about this game and the devs is that Dambuster Studios is located literally down the road from me and every time I passed the building, I would always see some kind of sneak peek for the game. 10/10 game honestly, if you haven’t played it you definitely should, you won’t regret it
Dambuster often has playtesting where they'll pay you $20-40 to come play and get your feedback on their unreleased games. They're a cool studio that have been through absolute hell during the transition from Crytek to Deep Silver while making Homefront. Was a good thing you waited as it was a nearly unplayable mess at launch but they stuck with it to make it on Digital Foundry's top 10 must play game on the One X and PS4 Pro

As someone who lives in Philadelphia where this game takes place it’s really fuckin weird seeing them phone it in y’know? Like you see the street signs that look near identical to the ones you see every day and you know exactly where that spot is, but it looks nothing like that street. Or like that one scene where you liberate a diner that just looks like a Wendy’s that I’m pretty sure doesn’t even exist. Or you see them on the subway you were literally on 10 hours ago and it looks so familiar, but then you notice that the seats are in the wrong layout. So weird
i’ve always wanted to play since it came out. bought it on sale, i enjoy it. it reminds me of gta online when you first log in though, it never stops giving noises and notifications driving by places. could use a radio
As somebody who never bought this game, but had an opportunity to play, it was actually pretty fun if you can get past all the little annoying bits and pieces throughout the game that are so repetitive you just want to be your head against the wall. If this game had more time and love put into it, I'd say this game would have been a easy sale at the store.
The commander calling you to compliment you immediately after you shoot a civilian reminds me of the meme about Miller from Metal Gear Solid 5 "Boss you killed a child!" "AMAZING! THAT'S WHY YOU'RE THE BEST, BOSS!"

When I first got an xbox one, I didnt have the internet for like 6 months, cos sacrifices were made lol. Anyways, I ended up getting this at the library, and I actually enjoyed it for a while. I remember always begging to hear my grandfather tell me about his time as a freedom fighter in the Danish resistance in nazi occupied Danmark. He owned an import/export business, and ended up hiding weapons in the floorboards during the day, helping outfit the resistance and fight at night. He had a medal, but I can't remember what it was, for his service, and ended up being given a job as a palace guard, fuzzy hat and all lol. So, I'm all about these types of stories and I think I may have been a bit susceptible to enjoyment
It's a pretty fun game for what it is. Bullets fly, Asians die, don't go in expecting a mind-blowing one a kind experience. Just go in expecting to shoot things and blow things up.
I literally randomly remembered this game in the middle of the night last night and decided to buy it on PC for the first time only to see this video come out now lmao. I really enjoy this game even if I can't really pin point why. I don't really get bored of it and even though the open world isn't that impressive or immersive I think there is just enough variation in everything to keep in interesting enough. Not to mention it looks really good for it's age and the mindless doom like gun play is really fun to me.

Since you show us timesplitter at the end you should try one of timesplitter games sure he a old game but you can be sure Kevduit you will have fun with this game trilogy and with my experience with timesplitter trilogy i can guarantee to you it will worth your time.

This game really wasn't that bad. It was generic, but it wasn't bad. I played it on gamepass a loooong time ago and I had a surprising amount of fun. I even bought the dlc.
In real life, those things are actually conversion kits that don't require taking off the slide. Most of them are a clamshell type of deal that bolts around the grip and allows the slide to reciprocate inside.
I still remember trading in Fallout 4 and just cause for this game. Biggest regret of my life. In what I assume was the final mission, the AI trucks broke and got stuck behind a small barrier. I had no other saves and the checkpoint put me in the exact same situation. Still haven’t finished the game.

I can understand the dislike but i actually enjoyed it. The open world, taking strongolds, blending in and able to adjust your weapon at any time kinda made me feel like an actual resistance fighter, having to improvise. Te orginal homefront has the bettter story but revoltion did a great job at the gameplay and immersion. Sometimes, i felt like combinig the story of the orginal game with the open world of thereboot would have been best of both, given how short the orginal game was. Somewhat tried that in a homefront fanfic, kinda
