It makes CQB way more intense as you can lean around corners and play gun fights more realistically. Of course to a certain degree as the NPC's will still try to do weird shit when detected.
God I wish the base game allowed more lethal gameplay like this . Those rifles hit like wet noodles without mods. Been running a pistol for stealth the entire game because no other guns can 1 hit enemies in stealth
That's always confused me about the balance as well. I know pistols *can* have higher calibers than rifles, but it makes no sense for almost every pistol to punch harder than a regular rifle round.
@@corbinpearce7686 That has been the standard balancing procedure in games for ages. Wouldn't confuse most people since you don't want guns to be broken.
@@jnriqe We have luxury flying limousines and the ability to transport our consciousness into cyber space but we don't have weapon mounted lights or night vision.
I love how the silencers work with these mods, it takes enemies a few seconds to realise what they just heard was actually gunfire, and it realistically also masks where the noise came from, so the enemies know something is happening, but they're not sure where or what it is
@@GameFuMaster I was talking about the from scenario 4 at 5:21, the white dude was spared and not the black dude from scenario 3 yet both were civilians
Honestly, I enjoyed the game most when I treated it like Metal Gear, with the stealth+guns+camera dodging. Unfortunately, they make it kinda meh as a build when it comes to the Don't Fear the Reaper ending. Of course, lore-wise, this is how Morgan Blackhand fought like. Didn't rely heavily on chrome and simply sneaked around with guns
Stealth Cyberpunk makes V seem more terrifying... Everyone has stopped responding, there's *something* in the shadows, and you're done; it's almost like V learned from Johnny's mistakes with his Malorian and traded it for something more dangerous and covert; also makes Alex giving you Her Majesty way more impactful imo.
Be aware that he's using a combat overhaul tho . The base game balancing makes this kinda gameplay stealth kinda difficult. You'll probably have to use Throwing knifes and pistols mostly. Won't be able to 1 shot enemies with Bodyshots neither, especially not a rifle like in the Vid
Gangster my friend, truly gangster! I didn't know you could grab and dispose of someone at the same time. That was cool and you aren't using any hacks other than the Ping, which also means no Sandevastan, which is also hardcore!! This is how I like to play, but with more hacks than just Ping.
I love the guns in this game but I wish there were also real guns in the game. In the universe of Cyberpunk there are still Gun Companies like H&K, Colt, Glock, and one of Johnny's Friends has an iconic FN FAL.
man especially with mods that make even max body builds with maxed out armor still die from at most several shots, this would make the games hard mode SO damn good cause you would ACTUALLY be killing them from stealth for a reason cause if they found you and got even a few shots off on ya, even with the chitin armor, your not going to last that long..... legit i think this has inspired me to do another run of the game again and to make a modlist for this exact thing ;D
using mods to make max body and armor builds feel like tissue armor completely invalidates the entire purpose of those builds. At that point, you might as well play another build and not bother with those mods in the first place.
Eyy loved this video, it has an StealthGamerBR feels in it; an youtube channel focused on stealth gameplays as you can guess from the name. Anyway thanks for your hardwork on this one.
I love how immersive you make this feels, like you'd have to check the surrounding, look around, scan or listen before you make a move. Other types of demigod V videos are fun, but it could be better if they should take note of what you did in this.
Man, I love this game, and I really wanna write a third person sequel or spinoff of this game based in Japan, focused on taking down an underground crime syndicate involving illegal fighting, arms dealing, and drug running, and your character would be a cyber-boxer.
Oh my, i should watch Your videos before i even touched combat mods topic 😅 Played awesome and looks awesome, incredible. Btw. I know how many attempts you had before you made it 😉
Got the hardcore 44 mod and its amazing to play like this with that mod You have to be tactical and fast, you're locked on 100HP no matter what level/cyberware. Enemies are also locked on 100HP exept for Robots So weapons are not weak as shit anymore but you're also not indestructable Tank builds also wont work because you're still a human, no matter what cyberware Its an amazing mod that I will recommend to every expirienced player
Usually if you don't one shot with a silencer then nearby enemies spot you, even if you do one shot they still sometimes spot you. If you're on PC you can try the Silent Silencers and Throwing Knives mod.
Love this vid. Only complaint is the throwing weapons don’t fully fit your commando vibe. Like you’re using an epic high tech rifle and pistol and then V finna pulls out a Kitchen knife. 😂 Regardless cinematic vid man. ❤
Wanted to do a stealth gameplay on release but the game barely functioning and stealth being basically non existent ruined my first impressions of the game, good to see modders made it a bit more viable
0:15 - "AGGHHHH!" / "YOU CA-" *_*stelf_** Hopefully there's a mod that makes stealth aspects more logical, or give the NPCs actual ears to hear someone screaming in pain across an open room.
I was going to say, but people are already saying it but yeah assault rifles in vanilla without mods hit like wet noodles, or the enemies are so strong they are built like a bag full of bricks that they'd be considered as bullet sponges. I tried doing stuff like this but just couldn't manage it so I wish they was that easy then I'd feel like an actual badass killing machine like V is supposed to be. Plus love the 4th Echelon vibe and look, and also love you didn't do the netrunning route all the time. I understand everything is connected to the net but.... Brute old fashion force??

For real, the damage done by each guns makes no sense. LMGs feel even weaker than the rifles do.
I could see that becoming 2077's equivalent of Skyrim's stealth archers; people tend to optimize the fun out of things
This video is why Project Orion should have an "operator" lifepath, and we should be able to get night vision for our optics mod.
I think that was V's actual background if you pick Corpo. Similar to Jensen in Human Revolution being "Head of Security."
