- The new Little Reaper continues her hot streak. We followup a fluke limit and a huge striper on the day prior with an all too easy Black Sea Bass Limit.
These fish are easy to catch and are delicious. Please take only what you will eat fresh.

Congrats on another successful trip.. Fluking has been a bit of a grind in Barnegat Bay. I can appreciate the solo trips but when you fish with your crew it can get really crazy. Thanks for the video. Great job.

So nice to go alone on the small boat. Do it a lot and the spot lock is awesome sea bassing too. Drop and reel. Awesome. I live jigging them. Get the big boat ready! BF tuna have showed up mid shore.

I ran back at about 32 knots or 35 mph or so. occasionally faster. Andy's shop is first class all the way around. Can't say enough good things about him and his business!

I have the same Minn kota on my 27cobia out of barnegat and I use a boat rope and loop the neck of Minn kota head push release and lift out of water so much easier when fishing alone

I was in that area ish last sat sharking and flying the kite with live herring and bunker. At 1st light there were 100 class bluefin pushing on top. Lost about a 300lb thresher at 6am then had 2 huge brown and 2 huge what I believe we're blacktips. All were in the 200 range. All released. 2 hit the kite which was awesome to watch. Man you ain't going to run that beast to the shelf?!?! Dude I run the cigar 28 mile cayru every time I can in my 16. I used to stay between the reef and the 28 but that shit is a parking lot on the weekends with a bunch of disrespectful clowns who think rules don't apply when their boat is bigger. I keep 3oz sinkers handy to throw at their gel coats to get them to show respect

Chris , any problems with Spot Lock ? My unit is going on second season been down twice,Board problem..cant count on it.
Not so far. And on my Maycraft i had 4 flawless seasons on the Minn kota Ulterra

First comment… btw did you go out today? We went out but it was slow for tuna in the canyons so we caught some tile fish
No we didn't fish today. I'm pretty sure our run on the 43 Ocean is over unfortunately. I think she will likely go up for sale soon. I just can't justify the endless hours of work, thousands of dollars....for it to just sit there. It'll be a sad day

someone needs to teach him to revive fish. water was not meant to go through the gills backwards. that kills the fish oxygen. they look fine when you release them only to die later. bring them around in a circle or put the boat in drive and bring them through the water so it goes through the gills naturally.
