This is great. Thanks for sharing. I also really appreciate that you left in the part about having to go back and recut the boards. Those realistic parts of the process are so important to see when you’re learning to do something new!

Don’t forget protective eye wear when drilling into concrete.

I found that the shelf brackets tilt the shelves slightly back towards the rails. Did you do anything with your shelves in the corner to level them out so they don't look awkward where they meet?

Curious why you recommend 3 1/4"-4" screws? Tapcon has shorter screws in the same 1/4" diameter that should fit the shelf hardware the same, yeah? Everbilt installation instructions recommend only 2" long screws, just wondering if you have a specific reason for the longer ones.

Great video! I just subscribed cuz I’m a 70 yr old lady, who learns how to do everything from utube! But now that I have found u I will go to u first😊 this is an easy way that I could do but I can’t afford all the items needed(don’t need a drill). “Is there another very inexpensive way u know of?” I’m opening an online store & want things available for local in-person sales. Need help plzzz🙏🤞🙏

I wish you had painted it first. It would've given it even more cleaner look.

3 snapped screw, 1 snapped drill bit (my fault), 3 bits waisted, 5 hours later... no shelves. The concrete I'm trying to get through is old and seems to be full of rocks or something. I'll be going along then hit a ridiculous hard spot. What should I use to get the crews in? They seem to jam then snap if too much torque is put on them.

Could be many reasons, what drill are you using? What bit? Are you forcing the bit? I mean you gotta try and let the drill and the bit do the work, don’t excessively push and if you are it’s probably not enough power, or the bit is just not gonna get through (combination of both). Those would be the first two starting points. Also were you using a hammer drill?

Curious how much the audience would pay for this service for a space similar to the front section. I was quoted much more than expected for labor and materials but I have no idea how intense the labor could be in actuality.
