Job searching is difficult atm. There are a lot of experienced hires competing for junior roles. Hard position, would suggest to focus on how your experience can resolve the hiring manager's pain-points. CV is great, but you can presume they've read it already. Hence, by the time you're in the interview stage. It's less about the CV but more about personality and competency. Also, If you're getting call backs from recruiters, you're resume is probably fine.
Thank you for the advice! I finally got to a version of my resume that actually consistently gets me past screening so now I can focus on prepping for interviews :’)
hoping you find the career/job your looking for! your shared real experiences helped shape my career choices i’ve underwent this past year, love your content!
long story short the recruitment process for the job i was supposed to get last time is kinda cancelled on the company side :( i hope you will have better luck!💪
Goood luck on the interview! I’m assuming this is for an analyst position. Getting the interview is the hardest part so now u just need to study. Talk to people at the bank/ are alums, and ask them for tips and advice this is the best way. Reach out and say u have an interview with their firm, u can ask about culture, this will help u answer ur why question. Most important for u to have a clear story as to why you want to do banking/ esp at this firm. Also know your technicals, practice all the technicals. Wall Street oasis has great resources :)
