This was an outstanding concert not only because TMK was at his best as usual but also because he brought out the best in Akkarai, Praveen, and Anirudh. Kudos for experimenting with a unique concept of seamlessly moving from one raga to another where pakkavadyam was part of raga Alapanis and tanam. At about 1:54, during Shri Ramachandra Kripalu .., he absolutely gets immersed in the song and becomes emotional. I was emotional throughout the song. Long live Carnatic music.

Akkarai's appreciation of Krishna's rendition is a distraction with those odd noises..wish she would curtail the same!
Yes absolutely , we wouldn’t like if the mike kept making some sound in between , similarly these appreciation sounds on stage is quite annoying
