I have heard dozens of artists rendering this composition, but none like TMK! I love the way he sings Charanams 3 and 7 back and forth in the middle to illustrate the mellifluous flow of the raga. Even though there are 10 Charanams in the masterpiece, they all surround the raga and only he can bring it out
so beautifully and melodiously. He literally immerses us in the vastness of raga Nattai! Hats off, TMK!

It's very thoughtful of all of you to confine non-music related comments to this single thread ..even music appreciation has to be without personal prejudice.
Artistes sing pancharatna krithis like a nursery rhyme without any improvisational qualities ...I'm glad that there is an experimental seed in TMK. Sometimes it works for us, sometimes it doesn't...the only heartfelt comment was from Mr suguraman. That's a worthy comment though perhaps untrue in my opinion...but hey I'm ok with that..
