Great review. I also have the Hyte Y70 Touch and Thicc Q60 in push pull config. The hardware is great. I 100% agree with your review. I spent over 1 hour trying to replicate the default lost "Rainbow Wave" RGB setting. Hyte needs to add the setting ASAP! After playing around with the cooling App in Nexus, I find it to be pretty cool. On Thursday I should receive the light strips from Hyte. Where is the selectable matching Thicc Q60 matching "Fish Emoji"?..........and they should have matching backgrounds for all of the Y70 Touch's backgrounds......not just Vortex Tunnel :( You should be able to match/mimic everything on the Y70 Touch's display.
I think it looks really cool but it's kinda proprietary in a sentence that it mostly works with a vertical GPU in the side bracket and I don't like their cases that much. Bought an Y40 and returned it because it looks and feels all plastic.
This rad is so large that i could genuinely see a version two having a display on the side of the rad, especially given that the trend of fishtank style cases like the one in this vid would position such a screen really well.
I think this is probably the best option out there for Y40 & Y60 builds, and Hyte designed the cooler with their own case lineup in mind. (It would look quite sexy in a black/white Y40 IMO) Neither the Y40 or Y60 can push/pull a 360mm and the Y60 can't handle thicker top-mount radiators like the Arctic Liquid Freezer II/III 360; not sure about the Y40 while the newer Y70 can with no problems at all. I upgraded from the Y60 to the Y70T due to wanting better cooling and airflow in my case, and in that regard the Y70/Y70T delivers. The radiator comparability with the Y70 series is vastly better than the others in the Y-series of Hyte cases. As for Hyte's Nexus program it is a bit limiting in terms of customization, I still can't add a Discord shortcut for some reason and can't set 100% transparency on the widgets. All of my gripes are with software, as was Gear Seekers'. I am of the personal opinion that the improvements are a waiting game - if you want to wait until it improves and get it or if you want to get it first and wait for the software to improve. Hyte is clearly in this game for the long run, they outstripped the global supply for the screens in the touch version of the Y70 (20x their expected sales volume), and they're sister brands with iBUYPOWER which is NA's largest SI IIRC and 25 years old at this point. Hyte is clearly targeting a higher end segment of the PC building market and they'll need polished products to succeed in that market segment. For AM4/AM5 if you don't need/want a screen on your AIO I'd lean heavily towards the Arctic Liquid Freezer III AIOs. Got an ALFII 280 and an ALFIII 360 in two different builds and I'm quite fond of the ALFIII, they're also 1/3rd the price of the Q60. Leaning towards getting the Q60 to try and tame my i9 build's temps though, a 360mm version is for sure a buy for me if Hyte is considering making one.
Great video. These critiques of the User Experience are well valid. How does the software project manager allow these software developers to put out a product with what seems not having any standard (normal) user (UA) testing. This new shift towards software development protocols such as DevOps/ Agile work streams into product usage at the customer level is completely arrogant at worst and short-sided at best.
Not a fan of this thing. Kinda hideous. I do love that they hide all the wiring in the tubes though. The other companies should follow suit with that. PS: When are we getting a Claire build vid?! “Claire builds her dream PC.”
I like the idea of a big rad CLC, but don't need the screens or the added software bloat. But I guess that's where they make most of the money from, so I kinda understand.
looking at that cooling/fan control page 17min in, like... i was so confused at the start, then after seeing u play around with it i got what it was meant to do, but... like seriously it is SO unnecessary😂i do agree it looks dope, and might actually be fun (and maybe flexible?) to play with but, why? it's too much, not to mention if it end up getting support from FanControl, i will be running all the fans and pumps from that anyway, and not their in-house app, simply because FanControl has a much better GUI, THAT MAKE SENSE, imo anyway...
Oh, that's interesting with the rise of radiator/in tube pumps... a dual tower-dual fan aircooler link to a 420mm water cooled line might keep a 14900KS from thermal throttling 😂
Hey nick, my SF600 platinum is about to bite the dust. What would you recommend for an upgrade/replacement, right now i got a 5800x3d and a 3070, looking to upgrade the GPU later, all enclosed on the Corsair 2000D(sfx-l is an option though i'd like to stay small in case i decide to take the a4-h2O out of the storage) Love the videos! 💯
The rads vs 38mm vs thicc's 52,mm. This 😅 won't fit in most cases and GPU size is commonly on the large end. I wouldn't be surprised if in a O11 style case side install risks gpu inteference certainly not doable for top exhaust
This is WAY overkill for me, but this thing looks incredible. Hopefully they can get the software ironed out at some point. Love the content as always!
@scott6885 - I want to see a 360 version of this. To keep a high powered cpu cooler. Modern technology just keeps getting better, & better. We live in very interesting 🧐 times.

when those idiots who manufacturing those water coolers get it ?? we don't care about lcd screens we care about quality and price we not need stuff that are useless
Yea Nexus software sucks I bought the y70 for the screen. Now I keep it unplugged cause the software is so buggy it messes with my other screen and even though the screen on the case isn't primary it trys to and screws with the other monitors as well glitches them out makes my computer freeze it's terrible. I won't buy anything from Hyte that requires Nexus Software again
Ahh more overprice pc components with an LCD slapped onto it, it's cool don't get m,e wrong but man there are just better options that makes these things look silly imo. But hey if enough people want to buy it they will keep making em lol.
If cooler master did hear feedback, they wouldn't have gotten rid of the nr200 v1. About the cooler, feel the same way as i do about their cases, mostly hype and come up short.
hello sir, i dont think you understand about "hot" air can affect your overall system it's really let down for me seeing a tech youtuber think like this. i believe if i remember correctly you live in australia right? and i believe in australia have summer season. i give you simple example about "temperature" think about you in summer season and you use your air conditioner to blow hot air not cold of course the room temperature inside your house or a room is becoming more hot. now use that example and think about what happen inside the pc case if you use a "hot" air from radiator to fill inside your case and recirculate. the word "airflow" in pc is to move "hot" air to outside the pc because we dont want our pc running hot and we want to move the hot temperature from pc. from just one video i don't think i can trust your data from before because you really dont understand thing like this

you do not understand pc tech or how air flow works, nexus gamer covered this with the nvidia pass through coolers when they originally released on the 3080. The fact more air was flowing over ram and motherboard dropped the temperatures even though it was hot air from the gpu
“Exhaust brings hot air into the system” “Temperature of the air doesn’t matter, what’s important is that air moves” I’ve forgotten why I stopped watching this channel. Thanks for reminding me 🫡
“If the pump is in the radiator, it doesn’t fucking matter” 😂😂😂
I also enjoyed this.
It just had to be said LOL!
@@GearSeekers well said 😂👌
WHAT UP, HOW IS IT THAT THIS 🤔 AIO HAS HYPE & REVIEWS ON TH-cam, BUT THERE ARE NO GOOGLE REVIEWS, NOR AMAZON REVIEW?
the screen is ugly af imo, looks like they taped a phone on a hold plate
Yow know what? I agree. The more I look at it and do more research the tackier it looks.
RGB & LCD Screens?
Hyte: YES!
What's not ridiculous is the Gear Seekers. Just plain awesome.
The pump has a minimum 2000rpm so I'm guessing it's audible especially when the fans are spinning at the lowest RPM?
Bro that iphone covers that gorgeous motherboard, dealbreaker ??

The most important part of the video should be the cooling ability, and yet it is the shortest one. Still, I appreciate the video! Have a nice day!
Ill just stick to my Arctic III 360mm.
the bg music for the build... fantastic man!!
I love the Hyte Y70 and the angled display panel, but a cell phone display on the cooler like this is a big no for me.

It has 2 pumps. one in the radiator, and the other behind the copper plate.
Would have e 100% bought this if there was a 360mm version.

I actually love the chunky ness of this aio
Hello Gear Seekers, do you think this would work in a Phanteks NV7(use it instead of the rear fans?)
Think it’ll fit in an matx build??? Thinking of the jonsbo tk1

Now they need a THICC Q70 for those that want the bigger case but skipped the touch screen
Love your content man!
Do coolermaster and arctic had a very rough copulation. But their lovechild is plump.
This bad boy is built for ThreadRipper! Might have to grab one for my 3960X!
It doesn't have mounting for Threadripper
I want an all black version.
Yoo, I want those power supply cables, any link to buy them?
If only it was all white. Loving the content as always my G
I kinda like how it's Black and White to be honest. Makes it stand out more :)
Great job, keep it coming.
3:34 You for get that AMD and lian li use that to hope there go be Y cable at some point
This cooler needs to be tested on i9 13900 or 14900k to see how it performs with a hotter cpu gear seekers
if apple watch and aio cooler had a baby this would be it
Problem it performing like a basic 80 USD Aio ..all this would seem unnecessary
Have the new arctic liquid freezer 3 and the rad is similar thickness.. need to be careful with what you install first, and mobo compatibility
84 for this vs 63 for LF III 360.

it looks kinda goody imo, maybe it'll grow on my though. it just looks kinda clunky.
