- Ahoy my friends! Today I will be taking on the EX3 Bahamut Alba fight. I honestly wish they would add an EX4 variation of this fight just because I think it's such a cool battle, but I'll be breaking down the fight today along with showing you guys my clear beta for how to get through this fight!

so i did it in co op with random , randoms always bring dps, so i got aerith with both hit limited weapons hamut and monster hunter. was albe to keep team alive and buffed the whole round.

Yeah I kinda wish they gave us an ex4 or crash of this too that changes color palette to actually be bahamut arisen from rebirth - it’s super cool this one does alot more of arisen’s move set

I noticed you pulled on both Cloud's and Yuffie's banners. How are you liking Yuffie's anniversary costume and weapon? I have enough crystals for one more anniversary pull, but I can't decide between the two.
I’ve already pulled on Aerith's and Tifa's banners and got their weapons to OB6. I also pulled for Cloud's Monster Hunter costume and got his MH weapon to OB6. There’s some overlap between Cloud's MH costume and his Bahamut costume, so would it make more sense to go for Yuffie's banner instead since I don't have anything for her? However, I also have Aerith's Kamura Wand at OB1, which overlaps with Yuffie's Bahamut Cutter. What do you think?
Damn that's a tough question haha, but i'll do my best to answer it as I see it. So as of now, I've used Cloud a lot more than Yuffie, but then again a lot of the current content was meant to cater to him. He's an insane farming char with this weapon, makes any type of auto repeat content super easy and as long as the flat damage isn't shielded then he's going to be a solid char for sure.
However, i do believe that Applibot isn't going to let Cloud keep on going destroying stuff, so i'm guessing his flat damage is the first thing from the anniversary that's going to get shut down. How long that takes, however, is anybody's guess.
As for Yuffie, she's definitely a great character, especially if you don't have Zidane's Sword at OB6+ or Ceremonial Sword Z. The MDEF AoE is definitely awesome, but it's never going to be a replacement for a dedicated MDEF buffer, more of a catalyst to aiding in that department. Her OB6 is definitely solid with having a high damage %.
To be honest, they will have both have their place in boss fights to come, and it will just depend on the boss to see which one is more capable. Personally, if i had to choose, I would choose Cloud because he's my more favorite character, but in terms of efficiency, i would probably go with Yuffie though TBH they are very very very very close here.
I think for these that are so close like this, i think it should come down to which character like to play more, which one you might have a more capable build set for, etc. I think in terms of overall kit, Cloud takes the edge, but in terms of weapon, Yuffie's will probably outlast his.
Anyways, that's my two cents, hope it helps mate!

I'm a F2P player so I think it's better for me to prioritize efficiency and longevity when spending my blue crystals. Since power creep is inevitable, you are right that Yuffie's weapon will likely outlast Cloud's flat damage bonus from the Bahamut Greatsword. I think I'll go for Yuffie's banner and then aim for a blue copy of Cloud's Bahamut Greatsword. If I were a newer player, I'd definitely pull for Cloud's banner instead to speed through single-player content. I really appreciate your help!
