Thanks for the vid. All the people that bought her downplaying her like crazy is annoying af. These stance mixups and transitions are literally impossible to deal with without having access to this info
A Lidia main who has no clue how to work her stances in my gameplan or what makes them strong. Contrary to your goal (lessening the pain in this world caused by Lidia's), you have inadvertently created a monster. Have a great rest of your day 😊
Lidia right now is my least favourite character to fight (played her back in Tekken 7 so I've got a soft spot for her) it just feels like they get in my face and hit buttons and run their offence and all I'm doing is just dickjabbing the whole game. "oh, she's going into stance again" "time for another dickjab" "I can't wait to guess this wrong and lose all my health" "oh of course they went for the low"
bruh i never knew it was this easy to counter her lmao ive been having a hard time against her and i labbed her for a whole day and now no lidia can beat me xD in my rank of course
I'm assuming this is maybe your first fighting game and you're trying to get into it. Unsolicited advice: you shouldn't be watcting this video. This advice is too specific/advanced when you're still in the foundation building step. You should watch a video on the basics of fighting games, like in general. Understanding spacing, recognizing when you're at an (dis)advantage, punishing mistakes, recognizing your own mistakes, how to learn. The point of this video is to make you aware of how to fight another player in a general sense and how to think about fighting games. Then watch a Tekken-specific video where they go over how to block, sidestep, off the ground options, heat, move notation - like WS 1+2 === (W)hile transitioning from crouching to (S)tanding, press X and Y at the same time - etc. Find a character you like and just start playing and press some buttons. Be intentional. Try to find some moves that you like. Try to find situations in which some moves are better than others. But most importantly, remember you're fighting someone else and they also probably want to just push buttons. You should engage with them as an opponent by trying to notice their patterns and countering instead of treating them as a punching bag. Once you're familiar, go watch a video on your character talking about some of their best moves and try to *slowly* incorporate more moves into your repertoire. Only then would I really recommend you start worrying about combos. In Tekken, combos happen when you launch your opponent in the air, letting you hit them as much as you want until they hit the ground again. They're an excellent way of dealing a lot of damage to your opponent when they make a mistake. I recommend learning one or two really easy combos. I just used the ones in the move list, they're easy and 'good enough'. Later on, you can find harder combos that do more damage, but your priority right now is to maximizing their number of mistakes and minimizing your number of mistakes. Build good foundations then worry about refining. This about the point you can start learning more about frame data and what that means and how to read it. Don't worry too much about it for, just know that: - Some moves are faster, your fastest move is your 1 (X) jab (typically) - When a move is blocked and then they both jab, the defender usually lands the jab first. - When a move hits and then they both jab, the attacker almost always lands their jab first. * I assumed Xbox controller, for my move notation

Being a Jack player and not knowing this match up is not fun 😆. Thanks for this video.
Same bro I fought one for the first time and had no idea what to do lmao

Thanks Brotha, cuz I’m damnit tired of getting bullied and bodied by Lidia’s online.
This is just garbage character design. They really just want to force you to either guess or mash. Smh
It's a braindead character.
Thank you fellow gamer.

This is a good concise anti character guide!! Any way you can do any others?
@@Authintix Sure! Do you have any in mind?
@@Landon_D Oh! particularly I'm having issues fighting against, xiaoyu, Nina, and Yoshimitsu. Those anti-guides in your style would be a big help!
What's annoying is you can't even lab her in the replays if you didn't buy her. Garbage character that shouldn't have been added

Best way to stop all her options do down 3 , 3+4 using law
How do my fellow Steve mains feel about this matchup?
Thanks for the frames.
Just picked up lidia lol thanks for this. I knew I couldn’t get away with the cheese for too long

If i crouch do I get punish from Mids & Highs? I'm new to this game...
U crouch, you'll dodge highs and get hit by mid attacks
