    Hey David. Good video showing how to install them correctly!! I just threw mine on when I needed them and never chained them down the right way. Because it extends the weight to the front of the bucket, it didn't take many fence posts to make my L3800 tip forward!! I sold them when I got my L3901 because it came with a set of Land Pride SSQA forks, and while I know they are pricey in comparison, SSQA forks are the way to go. You won't regret it if you switch!

      Hey Brad :) Yes, I wish I had a set of SSQA forks, but these certainly do as advertised. SSQA forks are on the list but pretty low in priority. If I didn't have a grapple and these clamp-on forks, I'd run out and get a set! Thanks for watching, my friend! :)

    Great video, really well done! I just received the same forks and I’m sure I’ll be using them a lot. I’m going to be ordering a ratcheting tensioner like yours, great idea, I’m sure my bucket will appreciate it!

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Luis! Yep, the chains and binders go on pretty quick, just don't over-tighten because they can bend the bucket lip also. The chains are almost loose when it's right. You'll see what I mean when you put them on the first time. Thank you for watching! See you on the next one. :) - David

    Great channel and reviews!
    These cost around $300, while the Land Pride Pallet fork attachment costs $700.
    I would rather spend $400 more to reduce risk. These clamp ons are more likely to fail and drop load, damage bucket and take 10x longer to install.
    These also put your load out further from front wheels increasing the risk of operating.
    They seem good for super light duty work though.

      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! Whether or not to spend the extra money and get a set of real forks has been bugging me ever since I got the tractor. I've found that with my workflow, I don't really need them. In the last year I've only needed forks 3 times to take FedEx deliveries at the county road. If the real forks were cheaper I suppose I'd get them but I have too many other things on my list right now! Thanks again and welcome to the channel! - David

    • @tonyz2897
      @tonyz2897 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PaleHorseOutdoors That's exactly why I just ordered a set. We occasionally get deliveries where the truck is too big to come up our driveway or the driver is uncomfortable with the bridge or hill, and I have to meet them at the road. Since my loader isn't SSQA, I figured the clamp on forks would be a decent compromise versus the cost of an SSQA conversion plus "real" forks.

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tonyz2897 Agreed - for some folks, clamp-on forks are all that are necessary as you described. I had a couple of deliveries that were very difficult to do with these clamp-on forks, but I'm still on the fence whether or not to buy a "real" set. I suppose if I didn't have a grapple, I'd use them in logging. Either way, it's the utility that I look at when making a purchase and I have the utility with these. A real set would be just for my convenience at this point. Thank you for watching and commenting, Tony! I appreciate you being a part of my channel! - David

    Thank you for your video. Just purchased 30" Titan pallet forks for a Kubota 7610 and was particularly grateful about the section devoted to the attachment of the chains and binders.
    I would like to source these parts from T Supply and would like more information about the chain lengths and hook size that you used as these would approximate my requirements. Thank you again for such an informative video.

    Good Morning, Very nice video. I was looking at getting a set of those pallet forks but my dealer was able to get me a good deal on an SSQA set of pallet forks. Curious, is your bucket a BX bucket? I see it has holes drilled in it for a cutting edge. I have the 60" light material bucket so far seems to be holding up. Amazing what these little tractors can do!. Keep up the good work. Take care and all the best.

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know, I was wondering about that when I first noticed the holes, but it looks like to be a standard 54" bucket. I'll have to check into it. Thanks for watching :)

    Adding the chain is bullshit when you could have welded eyelets for stabilizing the forks.
