  • Are Cheap Clamp On Pallet Forks Worth It???
    Yes they are!
Pallet forks are one of the handiest attachments I've ever had and they have a thousand different uses!
Here is a link to the pallet forks

Nice review. I haven't seen anybody do the chain. Great idea

Great idea putting the brace up by the tie down points. That makes perfect sense. I used mine to move a fairly heavy skid containing chicken coop parts as soon as I got my set and I didn't like having that much weight so far out from the bucket. It made the load a little bouncy. I felt like I needed to to go real slow and easy to avoid damaging my loader. I see tightening that bracket down in that position squeezed the tubing in a in a little bit. Someone said those openings are for putting a length of 2x4 in to create a back stop for the forks but you can't do that with a support chain around the bucket and it absolutely needs to be chained to prevent damaging your bucket. I might tack in a couple of small pieces of steel bracing inside those openings on either side of the hook slot to help the tubing keep it's shape when the brace is tightened down. Well done man! I'm definitely trying that next time I mount mine on my old JD 750.

I ended up breaking the top brace mount due to operator error.
I weled the support to the top of the forks. It is still adjustable in width, and it made them way sturdier.

They look great and a good addition. I would do exactly the same with the support bracket

I couldn't agree more with you where you installed that brace. Prefect on top and I would do the same. But I would also transfer and cut into the brace the chain slots. This way you won't have the chain trying to lift up the support brace. It will also strengthen the slot opening and prevent the chain from ripping out by providing a "double wall" tubing. Great presentation.

I was going to cut that out so the chain didn't pull up on it but I decided not too.
I am going to build a quick attach frame for these forks to go on so I don't have to mess with them on my bucket

I use them more than I thought I would. I don’t have any other pallet forks.

Pallet forks are one of the best attachments!
I have forks on my little wheel loader but it is nice having them on a machine that isn't so heavy
