      Hank, first let me apologize, such a purchase takes a few days thought to decide, and during those few days thought I forgot to return here to use your affiliate link. But I decided to get the USA made standard duty skid steer quick attach pallet forks with 42" tines, and their Economy stump bucket. Last night I ordered them, as they sent the order confirmation E-mail I noticed the shipping address was slightly off, I immediately E-mailed them back providing my correct shipping address. My order and correction happened in the middle of the night, before they opened for business today.
      I just checked my email and they said that it has already been shipped to the wrong address, but if I want to try to reroute it enroute they can help me out ... for another $75.00 fee. I guess what I am asking, is what are your feelings about their business practices? Do you know if FedEx freight indeed charges them to change address? If they do I understand they can't just eat a fee, but I'm just setting here thinking through what I believe to be the most likely scenario. Oh, I hadn't mentioned, that they offer both standard shipping for around 70 bucks, and free shipping, then as you check out, a 70 dollar "handling" fee appears, with a notation that you're still getting free shipping, the handling is separate. Their practices put me in mind of dealing with Mr. Haney from Green Acres. And as we know, on occasion Mr. Douglas grudgingly dealt with him, the whole town knew what he was, I just wonder how many people get Mr. Haney'd by Titan nowadays. I strongly suspect this will be the last time I deal with them.

    Oh stick a fork in it !!,,,...After watching this video I started seriously looking at pallet forks. I just mounted the Titan heavy duty 42 inch pallet forks on the Kioti CK 2610 tonight. Nice set of forks I will say. May not ever use the hay spears but they came with 5000 lb rated. Thanks for your review, Sold me on a set. Have a great day on your tractor

    Hey Hank, A little secret to sliding forks is to stand on the inside of the fork and lift and slid to the outside. I have run a forklift for over 30 years and that is the easiest way to slide your forks. Plus put some good grease on the rail and it helps too.

    I just received mine. I'm have a lot of problems getting the pins to go into the slots correctly.
    For one thing, it's difficult to see or tell when they do go in. One of the reasons is the pins don't extend down far enough.
    I kept waiting for a 'click' that will never happen. This due to the slots on the frame tapered and the pins are not???

    If someone has a smaller tractor they may need to consider lighter pallet forks so that they can lift more weight if they have a limited weight capacity. One needs to consider all things before purchasing. A smaller tractor that can not lift as much weight does not need a set of forks the weigh so much they limit there capacity with forks that will lift twice as much as the tractor.

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm

    You will wonder how you did with out them . I paint bright yellow 6” of the tip also . Makes you more aware of them when working around them and really easy too see when going in under something . Spray the upper and lower rail with graphite spray and you can use your foot at the fork half way up the back too push them easy after pin is unlocked . 👍 Nice quality forks too 👍

    I like those forks, Hank. I have a pair for the little GC Massey but wouldn't mind a pair for my other tractor. I've pretty much used my grapple for everything but there are times I'd like to use adjustable forks. I would use them to carry my generator from the house to the tractor shed in hurricane weather. I'd use them for hoisting my ATV off the ground. The best part is they are universal-hitch (SSQA) capable for easy on & off. Full watch, Hank. Have a fine weekend.

    I agree on how handy pallet forks are, we have them at all three farms; originally intended to get one set and get them when needed as they are only four to six miles apart. That just didn't get it. I normally only buy Land Pride or other "name brand", but I went to my LP dealer to order a set, he said, "I'll be glad to order them, but they are over priced and I have never sold any and use generic ones on my farm." I bought what he had on hand, but have since bought a Titan tree puller and a couple other things and they work well for us. A word of friendly advice, don't put a hole in the end for a trailer ball. It "can" be done, but with caveats.

    Hi Hank, It looks like the top of the forks secure well with the pin but in the video, at time stamp 6:45 mins you wobble the bottom of the fork and it does not seem to lock in. Is it normal for the bottom of the forks to move back and forth? thanks for the video review.

    • @thooper4380
      @thooper4380 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've ordered these forks, but haven't received them yet. But I've worked with other forks before and I'd say that's normal. You lock the top in so it stays stationary, but the bottom of the fork is just gravity resting it on the bottom of the frame. This allows the fork to move a little bit for the load to settle in and not be perfectly rigid mounted forks that have the load shift with little warning.

    Pretty Cool Hank. My co worker uses pallet forks on his Track loader to dig up driveways. He shoves the forks underneath the driveway, lifts and it snaps like a pretzel . Then puts the broken pieces in the dumpster. Big money in it. Thanks Bubba. Mark.

    When I got my tractor I stole my brother's pallet forks from his skid steer to move brush. Not as good as a grapple but a heck of alot better than dragging by hand. Also a better way to adjust your forks is raise your fel and "dump" the forks so they are perpendicular to the ground. This takes the leverage weight off of them and they slide much easier.

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm
      @HamiltonvilleFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the tip. I'll try that and I'm gonna also lube it with some graphite or silicone from what others have said. Have a good one brother 👍
