Hey Todd, nice walkabout through the market, not very many friendlies on your stroll. I think this is the first time I saw many men just give you cold dead stares. A few nice ladies said hello but at the end the nice pretty one smiled at you and said hello. Well guess everyone can't have a good day, a mate. The market was huge and I was talking to myself asking you to walk into a few of the dark places, so many goods to see, Very busy area. Look forward to what is next on your list of travels or visits. I really enjoy your videos and I must ask. I don't know how you feel about candy, but did you ever like cherry ripe. I loved those as a teen and America stopped importing them, but I found a place finally that will sell them, but they cost a bright dime for them. take it easy my friend and peace, till next time.

About the speediness of the "restaurant" serving you the food. As someone said, he would like to see a so called fast food chain employee compete with a street food vendor or thai restaurant chef. If everything is prepared, a wok dish may take a minute to make if the chef is inspired and experienced, while a fast food chain needs 2-3 minutes to make the food. If the hamburgers are not already made like in some of them. But that is cheating and not good for the food.

I should have asked Neenee when I commented on her earlier video about the goody bags for the dam collapse victims. Have you ever heard a figure on how many lives were lost? Maybe everyone was evacuated in time,,, I hope. Not one word in western media about that dam collapse. Well, my brother,,,another great vid. One of my favorite places,,,,markets. Good Info, Thanks. Unless lenient Enforcement produce more than normal accidents, Why change a system which depends on Civility? (A stark Cultural diff) Strict Enforcement is a definite contributor to discourteous behaviour where people come to view Driving or Riding as an expensive necessity to endure. Laotian Road system is better than most Developing & some Rural areas of Developed Nations. I am doubtful if you could go this long without a negative experience in Western Society.

Perfectly stated. I have a video to upload soon showing exactly this. The busiest roundabout in this city at peak hour.. At first glance it looks like Kaos, but you soon notice how everybody is watching out for each other and taking their turn without a hint of road rage or a horn blown in anger.

Like Vietnam, the Laos are no coffee consumers and they export 99%+ of their coffee bean production.
