Good luck exiting the train station at Stuphin Blvd.. All the drug addicts and criminals love to wait for tourist..Between all the homeless and illegals ur gonna wish u took a cab..I would know as I live literally 2 blocks away from the airtrain and actually work on the airtrain..
JFK to Manhattan March 5th 2024. SIMPLE. After spending best part of 2 hours in customs we were on our way. Having picked up bags we followed signs for Air Train to Jamaica Station. It’s a shuttle train goes every few minutes. You pay as you exit Air Train and into Jamaica Station. Cost $8.50, pay by just touching your credit card on barrier. Staff there to help. 20yds in front of you follow the large sign which says Long Island Rail Road, can’t miss it. Once you enter the LIRR there will be a ticket machine on your left. Again staff in red high viz will help you. Ticket from Jamaica to Penn Station, off peak only $5. Yes that is a total of $13.50 from JFK to Penn Station. You could catch a different train to Grand Central. We did the reverse on the 9th again $13.50. Time from catching Air Train to Penn Station, 30 minutes.
Ur advice is better than this guy,, the LIRR is much safer and cleaner than the MTA trains.. But u will still have to bypass all the nutcasedrug addicts and homeless.. but the LIRR is 100% a better experience
Grazie Nicola! Grazie in anticipo dell'aiuto!
You can buy the 7-day card from the newsstand, but you’ll still have to use the machine to add the $8.25. Metro cards can on,y be used on the subway and NYC local buses, not the LIRR.
How was that $10 only? I missed that step. It's $9.25 just for the MetroCard and exit from the AirTrain. And then it's another charge on top of that for the LIRR.
@@JDFrancisFor what it's worth you basically get that if you take the Subway instead. 8.25 for air train (the $1 activation fee shouldn't really be counted because you'll use the MetroCard a lot while in the city) + 2.90 for the subway = $11.15
Definitely clickbait! It's a minimum of $13.25 with a travel time of about 35 minutes depending on which terminal you're catching the Airtrain and connecting to LIRR to either Penn Station (West Side) or Grand Central Madison (East Side). Also, now OMNY is in place so you don't have to wait in line and pay an extra $1 for the MetroCard
It's not clickbait , if u take the MTA but it's still more than 10$,, something like $11.25.. Now what is clickbait is the LIRR being $5.. its not unless it's off peak hours.. u pay by zone.. during rush hour u will pay about $8. But the best advice I can give u is stay home,, NYkers do not want or like tourists.. 44 year old NYKer and believe me , we don't want u here..stay home or fo elsewhere.. we literally don't like u guys
Thanks for the amazing tips that I couldn’t find in other videos!
I’m very happy to know I was of use to you. Come back soon.
The news stand advice is very useful thank you.
My pleasure! Glad you find it useful!

Sorry to hear about customs. That can be a nightmare

Did anyone here use the E Train to Sutphin Blvd and get the Train To The Plane there?

C'è una cosa da tenere presente: i pass sono ingressi venduti in anticipo, da un sito diverso da quello ufficiale.
How much is it from Jamaica to Penn station on a Saturday evening around 7:30pm
On a train it’s $5.
Thank you so much
My pleasure
Can you please make a video about Newark airport to pen station
That’s a good idea! Thanks for your suggestion!
@@NicolainNewYork can you please make a video Penn station to old Saybrook
Can I buy a 7 day metro card at the convenience store and use that for my trip?
Nope you can’t use that

You can have a reduced fare for air train
Have no idea what the other charge you refer to is
Explain to me how it’s $10. The math isn’t working.

@@MegaBallPowerBall That makes sense. I was trying to figure out how you can get from JFK into town using the LIRR for only $10.
For so,e time in 2024 and Until Labor Day the ticket for Air Train was 4.25, making it all actually 9.25
