    C'mon now. Let's be honest and stop pretending like you don't know why people want to leave help desk as quickly as possible.
    People want to move from help desk because it typically consists of high stress, low pay, and repetitive tasks. You don't need mastery to move on.

      at some point i agree with what he said and then i saw your comment and also agree with you lol... Im a desktop tech for a school and I have to stay here for awhile to gain exp... but i can't stand the work outside of IT that most of the time people expect me to help with...

    it depends on resources normally IT helpdesk manager is last position and you can move to anywhere in Technology department but with your certifications else there is big NO in your career.

    Hi i'm moving from México to Frankfurt next month and i work as helpdesk with one year of experience, do you have any advice to where can i work in Frankfurt or even better what would You l do in my place?
