A couple fun details:
1. "Goodbye Moonmen" was literally Fart singing about committing genocide. If you re-listen to it with his plans in mind, it becomes pretty obvious, which is clever as hell.
2. Fart came from a portal shaped like a vagina, so he was technically a queef all along.

I like how the Jerry swap was so insignificant to Rick but literally shatter’s Jerry’s reality and we don’t know which is which
The funny thing about it are that Jerry’s are the only consistent thing between universes so it doesn’t even make a difference

You know, technically you don't even know you're watching the same Rick and Morty every time - after all, unless they *specify* they're of "Earth Dimension C-137," they could be *any* Rick and Morty having an adventure.

Interesting bit of trivia: 'Fart' was written with David Bowie as voice actor in mind.
They asked him through his manager, but he declined. Probably because of health reasons as he died a while later...
They talk about it on the commentary track.
I thought he kinda sounded like David Bowie, or at least a good imitation.
Just to add on to that, the guy they got to play the fart did actually do an imitation of David Bowie for a "parody" type song. Forgot his name though.

- ASMR intro was supercute.
- Midnight Run is a very entertaining action comedy from 1988 starring Robert DeNiro & Charles Grodin about a gruff L.A. bounty hunter who has to deliver a timid, eccentric accountant whose also is being chased by the FBI and the mafia. You should check it out if you get a chance.
- The "Fart" cloud is voiced by Jemaine Clement, of the HBO comedy music series Flight of the Conchords. The songs from that series are hilarious and infectiously entertaining.
The song Jemaine sings is Extremely Bowie too!
I love it, this is one of my favorite episodes.

Yes - infinite number of Jerrys/Beths/Summers/Mortys - with every infinite versions. So there must be a Rick level smart Jerry/Beth/Summer - remember you know of 1 Morty as smart as Rick.
Fun fact: the scene where morty asked fart to sing for him he actually lied perfectly since fart can read minds morty had to not think about shooting him

You guys might be overthinking the importance of differences between timelines?
It's just basically whatever the writers of any particular episode find to be funny. Infinite means that literally anything goes.
But the premise of the show requires there to be both Ricks and Morty's which requires there to be both Beth's and Jerry's and for those two to have had children together.
If you remember in the Interdimensional Cable episode, there was a timeline where Beth and Jerry didn't get together at all so those do exist, but they don't necessarily matter in any significant way

well the thing is.... doesnt matter how impossible they are possibilities are limited, so in order to be infinite timelines there has to be infinite of EVERY possible timeline out there. including the one we know. there are infinite jerry's out there who are exactly the same (and have the exact same past) as the jerry in this timeline. so maybe it was one of these jerrys so it would really matter nothing^^
but in the end its not morties jerry anyway since they changed the timeline in the past

One of the funniest jokes to me in all of rick and morty is where ricks jokes about how he finds a wormhole where all his “fart friends” can come and then just farts 😂

As to the question There maybe there are an infinite number of universes/realities, but alot of hypothesis and people like Max Tegmark predict just very large numbers of universes like 10^10^16. so either way basically infinite possible numbers.

The Rick and Morty we were following after the opening weren't the originals from the start of the episode. You can tell by the number they'd gotten for Jerry. I believe the DVD commentary also pointed this out.

Yea, timing is definitely a thing. Basically, any reality where Morty even exists has to been in one where everything was exactly the same up until the perfect exact moment of his conception. So in every reality with a Morty there'd have to be a Summer(or would have to have been), Beth and Jerry's history would be identical, etc etc. To be real, though, the show doesn't really stick to that as there are Rick and Mortys of other races or even species we see which is weird. It's not that it's impossible because with infinite realities nothing is impossible, but you'd figure in that case that the Citadel of Ricks would be full of all different kinds of versions, not just the occasional stand-outs.
Either way, the Jerry that may or may not have been lost in this episode was already the second Jerry you've had up to this point due to 1x6, so whatevs.
So Fart was really an Interdimensional Queef all along...
