It ties into what the guy said earlier in the episode when he came back to the toilet, that he and Rick were facing a similar problem. So the trap's message also applied to himself.
I think the meaning of the after credits scene is the fact that Jerry literally saved was all the water which according to the alien was limited. Him being able to give people water was him giving them something more precious than love and being appreciated for it

The person who voiced the pink alien lady who’s in love with the app developer overlord looking for water sounds like the voice for the lady who stamps refugees passports for the fairy into Ba Sing Se that’s hidden from the fire nation in Avatar the Last Airbender in the season two episode “the serpent’s pass.” Tried to use as much detail as possible in case people didn’t have as good of a memory.

this episode hit me hard, seeing how alone rick truly is in the world even despite willing to open up and befriend people, this turned into one of my favorite episodes along side the unity episode, both of which you really get to see they psych of Rick and its depressing as fuck

The "bar code" sticker on Rick's funnel hat when he shows up to the robot wars- its a QR code.
The joke is a reference to a serious problem that was recently found by developers in the software that runs self-driving vehicles.
The engineers placed a small QR code sticker on a stop sign. The car they were testing it on read the sign as a speed limit sign instead of a stop sign, and breezed past the sign without stopping.
They had to know what code, and where to place it on the sign to get the car to misread the stop sign, of course. But the experiment proved that any shitty human with the right knowledge can do the same thing. It has made a lot of imdustry investors nervous recently.
Anyways, the robots misread Rick as a robot officer because of the QR code bug.

@@freesandals29 The car reads a normal stop sign just fine (no QR code). But putting a QR code onto the sign confused the vehicle's software.
Don't ask me how or why, I am not a coder- I just read an article about it.

Nah its way better than vindacators of interdimensional cable 2. It wasn't as funny as last week but thematically it was just as good. Rick's depression is really come out this season I feel its leading to something big happening soon.
Also both episodes this season showed Morty acting more like Rick then ever. His characters development is fantastic.

It's disgusting to take off your socks and do that on a plane. It's more or less ok to take your shoes off. I mean each flight I take is around 10-12 hours. My feet be hella uncomfortable if I sit in my shoes all that time.

It's honestly interesting to go back and watch old reactions and see old comments say Rick doesn't care and now seeing people comment on the recent season knowing now how much he cares. Tho people are still saying he doesn't care about Summer but I think he does.

Part of the way it worked is combining what you want with what you already have. At the end of the day, he stopped the aliens' plan (sorta) and therefore preserved the water supply of Earth. So his fantasy becomes being appreciated for giving people water.
