BEST way to drive the Tunnel of the Trees: We drove it at night (convertible), no traffic, high beams, AND I played the Astroid Field from Empire Strikes Back (loudly). My wife started screaming, thus, I drove faster since there was NO traffic. At the end, we were all laughing (including my wife)!
Bought a cruiser and got back into riding Last Summer here in Michigan. Looking for some good places to ride a came across your video. Very very well done and I plan to visit those places soon. Also subscribed to your channel thank you so much for putting out videos! Hope to see you on the road sometime
Looking to join a riding group locally. Any ideas I like riding to same types of things you are sharing. I ride a goldwing. Any help would be appreciated
US-2 FROM ST.IGNACE WEST, ALL ALONG LAKE MICHIGAN. LET'S FACE IT..MICHIGAN HAS SOMEBEAUTIFUL ROAD TRIPS. REALLY CAN'T GO WRONG ON TOO MANY OF THEM!! SO MANY COUNTY & STATE BY WAYS. ,OVE MY MICHIGAN.
Last summer, 119 north of Cross Village was in horrible condition and, knowing Michigan, it won't be repaired any time soon. Lots of potholes and rough on tires and suspension.
Lived in Michigan my entire life. Trust me they’re much better roads than that and these roads are in the countryside beautiful beautiful scenery, but they’re not easily known I put this. They’re hard to find even myself. I have a hard time finding them because it does the rolling hills and turning and twisting, and there’s really no names for these roads there up north somewhere north of country road north of Thompsonville
You picked a great number one! Amazing twists and tree cover. Leggs is awesome too.
I have to ride that road at least once every year, it's a great one.
The ride on US 23 Mackinaw to Oscoda is nice on the east side. I love Michigan.
That is a good one too
No kidding, lights to look at and not as many fips

Hey 👋 I’m new here to mi and love riding . One day I’m gonna ride here in mi .thanks for the awesome video ❤️❤️❤️
Using this video to plan wife and my summer motorcycle trips. Thank you!!!
Have fun! Planning a ride is almost as much fun as going on the ride.
What a great video for a Michigander. I’m going to make it a point to ride some of these in 2022,
Thanks.
There are a few more nifty roads, but I tried to keep it to five.
I loved sharing an “armchair” ride with you both…. Thanks for posting Rick..
Love the over-shoulder camera, which seems to allow you to pan around while riding. Very cool!

Thank you for watching. Can’t wait till summer comes.

I have to agree, it has been pretty bad north of Cross Village.
The road from Grand Marais to Munising is the best road in my opinion. Tunnel of trees is over rated and to short.
I have to agree.
when did it get paved ?!?!
