@Ali Abdaal Thanks for intro to ‘speed consumption’ concept & episodes! I’m finding that it’s a super method to absorb, cognate, store & utilize content. 👍
Thanks for your amazing video as always. Here are 7 the habits 1. Writing cold Email to people you admire and want to know 2. Consume content from people you admire 3. Get comfortable with people asking for hangout 4. Bond over ambition or vulnerability BL 5. Thank you note 6. Put good energy to the world without expecting 7. Work in your Zone of genius - where you can flourish
Cliff Weitzman is one of the people I admire the most and we share the same top three goals in life🤩 a. Making myself the best person I can be, and raising kids who are greater than me. b. Maximizing the love in my life - with my partner, family, friends etc. c. Creating as much value as possible in the world and elevating the collective quality of life worldwide, most likely by founding technology companies that help others and by mentoring others.
Let’s do Habit 5 right now. Ali, the amount of knowledge you have passed onto your subscriber is incredible. These lessons truly have had an impact for me and I’m sure thousands of others. Thank you and keep it up!
Some key insights that I wrote down as notes for myself from the video : - Getting in touch with people via cold emails or social media opens new networking opportunities. - Learning and networking opportunities can be found by listening to audiobooks and podcasts at faster speeds. - Building connections is a systematic process that requires making an active effort, even if a person is an introvert. - Fostering deeper connections with others requires sharing vulnerabilities and aspirations. - Expressing gratitude can foster positive energy and bring people closer together. - Focusing on giving value without expecting anything in return creates a reputation for success. - Working in your zone of genius can propel you forward and lead to success.
Wow. Hey Abdaal, I'm William. It was a pretty good idea sharing summaries or tips you learnt from your longer deep dive podcasts and videos on this main channel. I'm sure you have realised too, but it will completely interlink the two channels as long as you do it, getting the larger audience to see the most important points curated while those who would want to go deeper can go to the deep dive channel as a niche. It would keep the two channels continuously relevant while you keep creating content you usually do on this main channel. Love♥️
Cliff had to overcome enormous challenges in his life as a child. Dyslexia made him basically an outcast and he used his shortcomings that eventually led him to build a successful business. His primary motivation wasn't money. Money was a byproduct of what he was trying to achieve in his early life which was to deal with dyslexia. The money came when he decided he wanted to help others who had the same issued he had concerning dyslexia. He had a whole different level of motivation to succeed in life. Something 99% of people probably don't have since everyone goes into business primarily to make money first as opposed to trying to help others. Cliff's path was not typical.
Ever since I have found your content it has changed my life in so many ways! From studying to now having my own podcast. You inspire me so much. Thank you for everything you do❤
Ali, I love the idea of sending a Thank-You note even to people you do not know. I have to say that you have made a huge impact on my life. I follow you everywhere I can and have been reading your Feel-Good Productivity. Before I found your TH-cam channel, I do not think I watched TH-cam at all. Wow! So, thank you for all you add to the world! I appreciate you.
Hey Ali, this was one of the best videos I watched this week. Really love the experience that you are providing with top notch editing & sound design. Watching your videos are very calm & soothing experience. I am gonna listen to your podcast with Cliff asap. Thanks a lot for sharing so much value. You have helped me a lot.
This suddenly made me reflect on what I'm doing if I want to be successful. Technical skills are indeed important but it is creating and cultivating relationships with people, be it the people you admire or friends with similar ambitions, that actually paves the path to greater success. Thanks Ali for this one! I never thought I needed to hear this one! Looks like I'm gonna do this starting now.
No. 5. Thank you notes. So here we go: This is my thank you note to you: "Your channel is new to me and i never stumbled upon it until 30 minutes ago. While making beats (i'm a hip hop beatmaker) i wanted to upload to my channel and youtube suggested your video - which is also a sign for good content and that your videos rank haha. So i clicked. And i paused at the half of the video. Not because it's not good - but because of it has so many good content in it, i just wanted to let that sink in and not rush through all of the good tips. So i came back 10 mins later and listened to the second half of your video. Also, since almost one year, i reopened my document, which i began in august 2020, where i write down important notes, statistics about health, education, money and psychology. And i typed down all your seven points with the explanations. So, to come to and end: Thank you! And keep doing what you do. All best!
Hard work, Success, Kind is the key. The definition varies for person to person but Success is not just about becoming the best or the wealthiest, it’s about building relationships and making changes that impact positively. Habits of Cliff Weitzman: Tip 1: Systematically sending Cold Email to Strangers and people that you admire. Tip 2: Consume Content from the people that you admire. Tip 3: Get comfortable with asking people to hang out (Gaining Knowledge and Building Relations). Tip 4: Bond over Ambition or Vulnerability or Experiences (The structure of a good story) - What do they really want and why can’t they get it? Tip 5: Write Thank you Notes. (Simple thing but very Powerful) Tip 6: Put Good Energy into the World without expecting a Return (Book: Go Giver) Tip 7: Work in your zone of genius means creating opportunities for yourself in places where you can really shine.
So inspiring to build real connections with real people. We have so many ways to put content out but we're losing the art of true communication. I see this as a major step forward. Thank you Ali - I appreciate you.
This is the first time I saw an informative video that is so genuine and empathetic at the same time. Ali, it is magic what you are doing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and inspire me and many others to reflect and change for better!
So good! I totally can relate to one of the points - always remember to express your gratitude, say thank you whenever you feel like to and don't need to overthink if it would be awkward or what not. My boss has been doing this so often and I mean even a small compliment or appreciation would really make my day, and make me wanna do better and work harder. Also, another good point that I hope to start practice is really don't be shy to speak to different people, and try to get to know them. Making connections is really important as you never know where it will bring you or how it will help you in your life / career, anything! Thanks Ali for such wonderful content 🙏
Thanks for the inspiration Ali - I've been listening to your channel for a couple of weeks now and you have immeasurably helped me to move my life forward out of the deep rut I had managed to dig myself. Keep doing what you are doing please!

Ail Abdaal, a man of heart, Whose advice and teachings are a work of art, May his influence continue to grow, And inspire us all to glow.
