Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

I’ve had majority of my holdings in tech stocks and I've had 25% increase in my portfolio, especially with Apple’s P/E (price to earnings ratio) but with much uncertainty now, my question is what stocks can be the next APPL in terms of growth for the next decade?

A colleague once proposed the idea of diversification to me, hopefully for positive results to offset any negative performance. At once, I backed it up using an advisor in order to avoid any fiasco. As of today, my portfolio has yielded over $450k in profits, from an initial $180k this year alone... maybe you should do the same.

So good to see someone sharing about COACHING
With the education bashing and, mix in the spruikers, non-traditional education via coaches and mentors have gotten a sour rep and stopping so many young people from unlocking their potential.

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!

Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority. I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time.

I would argue the "content business" is still just a product business, the product being that said content. Just as making movies or books is a product business, the product being the book or movie. Only difference is the extra hoops jumped with monetization going through advertisers or subscription services, instead of directly from consumer to creator. The consumer is still consuming that content, being the product. The payment method is just different, just like a construction company's product is the house they build and sell, even though it will be paid by a financial institution on behalf of the consumer, in exchange for a monthly instalment and interest.

You’re 28 and have a good chance to live another 50+ years. If you are 48, you are still relatively young middle age. So over the next 20 years your goal can be to make sure that by the time you are 48 you can retire or be financially comfortable. It’s possible! Like Ali, make your plan, grind and good luck! You can do it!
