Should work with alopecia as well...the cost of the cream will be ridiculous as always
I used to have severe eczema. My trigger was Vegetable Oils. So I avoided all Veggie Oil Based Soaps and I try to stay away from Veggie Oils in my food. So if I eat Fast Food, I will eat the Burger but avoid the Fries. I eat more animals fats like grassfed butter and I can tolerate some coconut oil based soaps. I haven't had a severe skin reaction for the past 10+ years. I would suggest going on Carnivore Elimination diet and add foods to determine your trigger and cause before depending on Pharma drugs.
Menthollatom works for about 48 hours not longer you have to reapply however it gives relief And improved shin quality and appearance. It helps me sleep
This medication is a lifesaver!
Hopefully something safe is on the way
I wonder if it burns a day after application like Protopic does.
Yes. I experience the burning from protopic. Until about day 3. It’s unbearable and so opposite to steroids. Also got severe discoloration from pro topic that never reversed because I never applied sunscreen 😢
It’s July 2023 is it available yet
I’m on it and I have severe eczema head to toe. It works VERY well for me. However, I ran out of it and I have to wait another 10 days to refill. It sucks because I was making really good progress. I started about one month ago. And it seems like they want you to fail every other treatment before they will give you this. In the meantime the suffering is unbearable.
How are you doing now? Have you tried dupixent/adbry first?
I thought you can't use this if you have large areas effected?
How much is it? A thousand dollars or close to it?
I just received a prescription for Ruxolitinib. I received it through a special pharmacy at no cost to me. I’m sure my insurance paid a significant amount, but again no cost out of my pocket. My dermatologist office contacted the pharmacy and the medication was delivered to me per FedEx.
@@calvinhaynes5781 I didn't have to pay the whole cost for it afterall & I love it!!! 4 days & my eczema went away. Wow!!!!
@@mckennalake3290 does it burn like protopic a day after treatment?
@@calvinhaynes5781 wow what special pharmacy? Lol what insurance do u have
@@AJ88874 You go through your dermatologist. They have connections to various specialist derma pharmacies.
Where does this leave patients with server eczema? That covers more than 20% of the skin surface?
Ask your doc about dupixent. I’ve been on it for about 5 years. It’s an injection but it’s changed my life. I had severe eczema…over 75% of my body and I could barely move beforehand. Good luck to you!
@@cyna1103 I tried Dupixent but it didn't work for me & dried my skin out really bad which increased the itchiness & then it made my eyes all messed up that it affected my vision. I almost ran off the road when driving. My eye Dr wanted me off it right away.
@@mckennalake3290 oh no I’m so sorry! I’ve heard to watch out for eye changes but luckily I haven’t had any side effects. My skin isn’t perfect but I can now move around without any pain. I hope you’re able to find a medication that works for you!!
