The mandalorian jetpack rocket has always been one of the coolest man portable weapons in Star wars to me. Boba Fett accidentally taking out the two ships in the mandalorian season 2 was excellent.

I hate how the user has to bow to fire - you have a targeting system, so why do you have to stoop to deploy it?

@@CT5555_ i mean I understand MAYBE having to brace in like a kata stance so he doesn’t lift off when deploying; but it should fire like the torps in The Expanse: canister eject above the user then thrust… it shouldn’t fire like the RPGs from the B2 droids because the user is a person
@@hellfish2309 I've always just accepted it as another case of Star wars using line of sight weapons, when it doesn't need to.
You forgot about his plot armor and super charisma!
Something that people overlook with boba aiming for the the lower ship is that we only see stormtroopers board one ship, the lower ship, so why take chances by doing a trickshot, if you fail then it means that you would only take out one pilot.
Technically he also had a cycler rifle from the tuskens on his ship and he carried it around I just don’t think he’s actually used it yet

he fired it a couple times on Tython to my recollection, but I have no idea if he hit any stormtroopers with it. Given the nature of stormtroopers, he probably did.
His EE-3 blaster is likely a different rifle of the same model, as Luke sliced his Previous one in half.
I thought it was the same one but repaired, that’s why the silver part is there. Maybe I’m wrong tho
I was thinking the same thing what actually happened for him to get his old one and the new to repair it or how did he get the new one

He just got his armor back that some rando was using, after 7 years away, he's lucky his gear was functioning at all. I'd chalk it up to either the launcher system was on safe mode or it was loaded with cheap infrared rockets, heat sinking ordinance is famous for tracking to more prominent heat sources, the early ones that were made are documented that they sometimes lock on to the sun. Remember some rando had the gear for a long time, he probably didn't even buy top quality, only stuff that is cheap but works.
I just figure that he was just pushing the intended range of the rockets, so it ended up drifting a bit. I don't think they're meant to be shot over that large of a distance.
The "I was aiming for the other one." line is an homage to the Magnificent Seven

He was ranged DPS, but he now multiclassed into melee warrior too.
Boba’s tusken tools feel so natural with his current gear.
He also had extendable blades in the wrist guards that Jango used to stop himself from falling off a roof on Kamino.
There were a few EU weapons that he had you missed but I don't know if he still owns them/uses them or not or if they'll be canonized.
He had a concussion grenade launcher he kept strapped to the hip.
A Sacros K-11 blaster pistol known as The Disintegrator that he swapped out for his concussion grenade launcher on his hip when needed and always had one of the two on him. It was powerful enough to blast an imperial speeder to pieces.
He also had a DXR-6 disruptor rifle
O and apparently according to the canon animated galaxy of adventure shorts his EE3 is capable of full disintegration of a target like a disruptor rifle.
Also his dad’s dual pistols he’s seen using them multiple times in the the clone wars. There are probably 6 of them chilling on slave 1 next to the rack of ee3s
Best explanation for why Boba took out both ships despite aiming for the other one? It was the will of the Force.
I'm telling yall, heatseeking missle, they are known to drift to other heat sources, including the sun if they are low enough quality.
It's a reference to the original Magnificent 7 movie, a space Western paying homage to a classic Western.
This is like the absolute coolest arsenal of all Star Wars characters
After episode 2 A part of me feels that modern crime lord bobba is a bit naked now without his gaffistick. They did awesome job combing the black Tusken robes he earned joins the tribe with his mandaloran armor now I think bobba should reinclude his gaffistick with his ranged arsenal put a sling on it for ease of carry and place it on his back next to his jet pack as to not get in the way it would just make the general look more badass.
CThe line I was aiming at the other ship is a tribute to Akira Kurosawa’s 7 Samurai & The Magnicient 7 where the line is originally used.
Pretty sure the Night Wind boi who got smeared by Boba’s missile on the side of a Mos Espa building got more than ‘concussed’ 😉
What about the blades in his shin pockets, spring-loaded toe spikes, or the projectile or energy weapons hiding behind his chest armour panels? The toys hyped these up in the late ‘70s and described some of them in the instructions sheet that came with the large size Kenner figure in 1979.
Actually, we saw Boba use the EE-3 carbine rifle on Bib Fortuna in the season two finally post credits of the Mandalorian... it was quite effective I'd say... 0~o

The Kaminoan Saberdart would have been a good gadget to mention. Jango killed Zam with that in AOTC.
I like the idea of the suit and missile overriding him like that. I would be proud of my AI if it improves on my shot like that. I can picture him smiling under his helmet as he says "I was aiming for the other one."
What about the shock rifle (i.e. disintegration rifle) from Boba Fett's first appearance in the Star Wars Holiday Special?
That intro got me feeling like I stepped into a alternative dimension...
I’m pretty sure Boba aimed for the bottom ship probably because it was more in range(I don’t know the range those rockets have), and it’s likely the targeting system needed some adjustments, I’m not doubting Cobb Vanth, but we’ve only seen him use the armor effectively in combat, maintaining the armor? @@lel0uchvibritannia981 yes, there are some things in star wars that are eater eggs related to the japanese movie director Akira Kurosawa. This is inditectely connected to Kurosawa's works.
But very few people realize that...🤔🙄
First: "A New Hope" is inspired by an Akira Kurosawa's movie called "The hidden fortress were two serfs of a princess go after a general to ask for his help. In star wars the duo became R2D2 and C3P0, the princess became Leia and the general became Obi Wan Kenobi.
George Lucas use the false name "The blue harvest" for star wars when was filming the first movie,many years later they made a comic book with this name about a jedi general,Dass Jennir, that scaped order 66. The blue harvest comic book story is inspired by Akira Kurosawa's movie "Yojimbo".
And finally, this scene is inspired by an old western movie called "The magnificent seven " that was recently remade with Chris Pratt. I don't know if the remake has this scene but,in the original there is a scene where one of the magnificent seven (the good guys) uses a rifle to aim and shoot a bad guy that is so far away.
When he succed other of the seven says "good shot" and he says "I was aiming at the horse "(just like "good shot" "I was aiming at the other ship "), that's the easter egg in the scene.
And what this had to do with Akira Kurosawa's work? Simple "The magnificent seven " was inspired by Akira Kurosawa's movie called "The seven samurai "
1) nice to see the knee pad guns used, they've been floating around the lore for ages.
2) seems like the two birds with one shot answer is a bit of a sci fi joke heard it in Farscape but still worth a chuckle.
I remmber those hidden blades in the gauntlets that Jango Fett used on kamino in his fight witj Obi wan but im not sure if Boba kept that or removed it
2 years late to this chat but it does seem that the right gauntlet is under powered flame projector and the whip cord also presumably the jagged blades which Jango used on Kamino. Assuming Boba is right handed and that some of the gauntlet weaponry requires the opposite hand to activate, such as the flame projector. If Boba is using or carrying a blaster rifle this would severely limit his speed, perhaps this is why Jango only used suit weaponry and pistols with holsters.

Which arm is the flamethrower attached to? In the book of boba fett, boba used the right arm to activate the flamethrower and in episode 2, jango used the flamethrower on the left?
And in the mandalorian, boba used the flamethrower also on the right arm but on the top and not on the side of the arm
The Black Series Boba Fett figure has a flame effect for his right arm but Boba has tubes on his left arm which makes sense because they would be the source of the flamethrower’s fuel.

you missed the concealed blades in the gauntlet as seen used by Jango in attack of the clones, as well as that one concussive blast or whatever in that episode of the mandalorian when he punched a stormtrooper and sent him flying.
Actually the wrist rocket is only a recent thing as the part that is now the wrist rocket was the wrist blaster. If you look closely, the energy bolt emitted from that gauntlet in Jedi came from the top, NOT the side.
Also, Boba's gauntlets can't be Jango's because Jango's flamethrower was clearly on his left gauntlet and Bob's is clearly on his right and has tube running from his jet pack to the gauntlet that Jango didn't have.
That was what i saw…until the last episode where he fights cad bane and suddenly its on the left again….

Mandalorian S2 and Book of Boba Fett have some continuation issue with Boba's armour layout. The flamethrower should be in his left gauntlet in 1 "box" with the wrist laser. But, in the Mandalorian S2 and BOBF, the flamethrower is the same thing with the whipcord. So the wrist laser is one of the "hole" (probably the upper one) while the other is the flamethrower.
While i appreciate and really like Mandalorian S1 and S2 (and hope that BOBF will be as good) this small detail that usually have good attention from everyone in production sadly missed by them.
That was also something that irritated me a lot, but how do you know that?
I feel like this wasn’t a mistake, since we see Boba fire two lasers from both barrels in the fight scene with the stormtroopers.

We’ve never seen the flamethrower used before in actual star wars media, I believe the source for the flamethrower being below the wrist laser is an old book/poster showing Boba Fett’s weapons. To me it makes more sense that the flamethrower is in the same gauntlet as the whipcord, looking at the amount of fuel tubes leading there. (It uses jetpack fuel I believe)
The flamethrower should be on his right gauntlet. I know this because you can see the fuel line connected to it around his elbow
You forgot the crush gaunt/ concussion gauntlet featured in the mandalorian. Is power glove enhanced super slam against storm troopers.

A Mandalorian jetpack is a weapon
boba's armor has to have been modified since the days his father wore it since chain codes werent a thing until the empire came to power as a standardized ID system. that being said, it doesnt make sense that jango's chain code is on the armor and by extension I believe someone said jaster mareel's code was in there too as an easter egg. again though neither jango nor jaster should have had chain codes since they both died before that system was ever implemented.
Technically you missed the Tusken rifle, but it wasn't really his so I don't blame you

Don't know if he still has them but in the clone wars he wields a pair of westar-34 blasters like his father. There is even a unfinished scene where he uses them to duel Cad Bane.

I still don't know if boba has kept these in his armour and I don't know what they are called, but, in the fight scene with obi wan jango using some sort of spike system to stop himself from falling, I know we've never seen boba use these but I see no reason as to why he would remove them.(if there is a reason please enlighten me.)
I dont get how a piece of wood can break storm trooper armor. It must have special qualities that we dont know of but kind of a stretch since he was able to yank it off by himself. Love the book of boba!
Some strong woods out there even in the real world, and theres ways to treat them to make them harder. Could be a special in universe wood that is strong enough to break the armor.
In clone wars there is a wookie youngling that uses a wooden hilt that the lightsaber bilding droid rold him was as strong as metal.
Battlefront 2 taught me all this.

According to some legend sources, he may have one or more lightsabers from deceased jedi, though the details are pretty sketchy.
I think he aimed for the bottom one because the debris from the bottom one could fly and hit the top one

stormtrooper armor is designed to deflect energy blasts and dissipate it over the body, its most likely the stormtroopers who fall after one shot; aren't dead. Just unconcious or out of it.

Of course some stormtroopers die when shot - we see it plenty of times from different media. But that doesn't mean their armour never does it's job. Even in the mandalorian we see stormtroopers shot that survive and thats not a kids show.

A tip to british Ben: The volym of your voice was pretty loud(i see med like you where half screaming). And no i didnt have my volym up high. It was more like the "projection of the voice that made it a little uncomfortable to listen to. I mean this as constructive criticism and not as something bad. Jango used the Z-6 on Kamino, not Geonosis. The one that broke on geonosis was the JT-12

Boba fett vs captain America?
I would take these weapons along with the S-5 blaster pistol and a dart shooter. Darts may have a shorter range, but they are silent and the tips can be dipped in different substances for different tasks. For example, I would take a substance that would knock the target out rather than kill. That way, if the target was live capture, then there would be a reduced chance of the target dying.
