On the dented Beskar situation; I don't think Boba's armour has been confirmed one way or the other, but it's been explained that most Mandalorians don't wear pure Beskar, but wear a diluted Beskar alloy (Beskar mixed with weaker metals) - this is because Beskar has been becoming increasingly rare, so most Mandalorians have to settle for it being part of their gear, but not the full thing. Din is (I believe) the only Mandalorian to be confirmed to be rocking around in Pure Beskar (also, his spear was pure Beskar), so he can take lasers like it's no tomorrow, but other Mandalorians we see get one shot in things like the Clone Wars & Rebels. Boba's armour (or at least the helmet) is probably stronger than most diluted Beskar alloy, but not pure like Din's.

We also know some Mandalorians wear their ancestors armour, which is usually of higher quality (Sabine says she wears her grandmother's or something in an episode of Rebels). Considering Jango is confirmed to have been a foundling, Boba/Jango's armour probably isn't that high quality Beskar (but still enough to protect his head from a blaster shot).
It is low quality beskar because the Jango stuff is still cannon until they retcon it. His other stuff my be higher quality since I think he just paints that one to match Jango and beskar isnt exactly rare anymore, especially to high class imperial bounty hunters like Boba, but the helmet is canon Jango's who isnt even a real mandalorian basically.

The events of the boba vs bane shootout are still cannon because we see bane has a metal plate where fett shot him in the head. Beskar is blaster proof but it does have a breaking point, it’s possibly to get dented or even break from a high powered shot or a certain angle
Look at AOTC during Jango’s brawl with Kenobi when Jango is flying and Kenobi wraps the chord and Jango crashes the dent appears in the helmet. That’s canon.

Apparently most Mandalorian helmets aren't 100% beskar. We can't really extrapolate all of Mandalore from Din's extremist cult. I didn't know that about the bowcaster though. No wonder Han thought it was cool when he finally got to use it after all those years.
Boba Fett's helmet isn't beskar. In season 2 episode 21 of The Clone Wars, he blows up Jango's original helmet to try and kill Mace Windu. Boba Fett's current helmet is made of duraplast.
I assume the POV shot from inside Boba’s helmet was so restricted because the armor was damaged from the sarlacc so the 360 HUD you mentioned was down. Or at least that will be the retcon reason the next time Disney releases a guide book.

I don't think Boba's armor is pure Beskar, it's some kind of beskar alloy. So it's highly blaster resistant but not, y'know, completely blasterproof. Hence the dent.

Apparently most Mandalorian helmets aren't 100% beskar. We can't really extrapolate all of Mandalore from Din's extremist cult. I didn't know that about the bowcaster though. No wonder Han thought it was cool when he finally got to use it after all those years.
Boba Fett's helmet isn't beskar. In season 2 episode 21 of The Clone Wars, he blows up Jango's original helmet to try and kill Mace Windu. Boba Fett's current helmet is made of duraplast.
I assume the POV shot from inside Boba’s helmet was so restricted because the armor was damaged from the sarlacc so the 360 HUD you mentioned was down.
Or at least that will be the retcon reason the next time Disney releases a guide book.

I don't think Boba's armor is pure Beskar, it's some kind of beskar alloy. So it's highly blaster resistant but not, y'know, completely blasterproof. Hence the dent.
