I think I know what the GamePlay mechanics of the videogame tie-in is going to be.

I had the same thought. The show plays like an RPG game...character does quest, gets paid, uses payment to upgrade kit, gets owned less in the future...rinse, repeat. Not complaining, mind you, as I'm really enjoying the show. Just something I picked up on.
Pretty sure The Mandalorian was based off of the axed game Star Wars 1313, hence why he "grinds" so much

The knife in his boot is actually a vibroblade. You can see is shimmer in several scenes. The blade actually vibrates allowing it to cut and slice thru many substances quite easily.
Like the Ceramic Nano-Swords in Earth final conflict. Mono-Molecular blades. not all Vibro-blades would be a single molecule wide...but close enough for government work.
with a cortosis weave to withstand contact with light sabers (KOTOR)

@Easliy Displeased no, not to my knowledge*, as that's not what camando droids used in the clone wars, and that's the most reliable source of vibro blade abilities in cannon at the moment.
It would reasonably be more durable however, so still useful even if it doesn't f**k a lightsaber and make it explode because it suddenly had an unstable amount of wavering plasma moving through it.
*Also why did it change knowledge to knees after I finished the sentence, that makes no sense, seriously, how do I turn off auto correct?

Which if you ask me can be very impractical since if you just remove it and attach it to the gun all the time, there will come a time where it affects your scopes’ accuracy. It may not be visible in closer ranges but it will be in a longer range which is bad if your rifle is used for long range engagements. There’s a reason why operators have separate scopes from their rifles because their rifles have already had their scopes adjusted properly while the hand held one is there in case they need to scout something out without the rifle
@@JRHunter-ys5ft bruh levitation is legit possible in the size of a motorcycle pretty sure the self calibrating tech is there. Just google Linux-powered sniper the tech is already here for us

I can see this in battlefront
In the Mandalorian, the boot knife he uses is actually a vibroblade; you can see it moving in the light and subtly vibrating when lodged in the mudhorn. Just another reason this show is 100% mint. 👌🏼
Is that vibroblade some knife equivalent of bullets with hollow tip? Does it cause much worse damage than normal knife of the same size? Because Mando´s knife seemed too small to kill such a big creature like a mudhorn.
@@Mysikrysa Close comparison. I'd say it's more like a .22 long rifle compared to a .223 Remington. The bullet is roughly the same size, but with that .223 you've got a ton more energy packed behind it. Vibroblades are like this wierd sci-fi afterthought to why so many characters carry melee weapons in Star Wars when blasters are a thing. Vibroblades vibrate at a ridiculous frequency, sort of like a reciprocating saw on steroids, and can cut through a lot of materials, transfer a lot of energy, and cause a lot of damage to tissue with minimal effort on the user's part. It was explored a lot more in legends, so it's really neat to see them in official cannon material.

We know that Boba Fett's blaster could wirelessly connect to his helmet visor and display tactical information. It's very likely that Mr. Mandalorian uses similar technology...

@Easliy Displeased they probably trained without the smart link and are drilled to shoulder their blaster rifles. But this is just explaining away concept flaws by a fan
The Mandalorian is basically a cross between Indiana Jones in style, a Yajuta in Weaponry and a Goblin Slayer in Personality and instead of killing a tiny green thing he’s protecting it

He didn’t have a handheld scope, if you watch that episode closely, he takes it off his rifle, it’s the same scope
All these gadgets sounds like he is gonna “lone wolf and cub” this series.
They also used a weapon that housed slugs or actual metal rounds. It was built because when fighting jedi, their blaster fire was just deflection practice for the jedi. But with these rounds they'd shatter if deflected and bits would penetrate the jedi wherever it was blocked.

Correction: Boba Fett was not a Mandalorian. I am not a nerd. (This statement has officially been proven wrong, or at least retconned as of Mandalorian Season 2. George Lucas, however, for years insisted that Fett was not Mandalorian. It's been changed in the Filoni/Favreauverse.)

If you wanna get technical, none of the mandolorians we see in movies and shows are real mandolorians. Mandolorians never cared about race so the name is basically a way if life rather then a true race. However there was a race tied to the name but that was long ago and they are gone so it doesn't matter. Boba fett and Jango fett are mandolorian because they fallow the ways of the mandolorian. Also there are different groups so the rules varied between the groups as to the helmet, armor, and attitude. I am a nerd if you couldn't tell lol

The helmet is most likely linked to his blaster and rifle scope. Just as the clone troopers would have to give them the ability to track where their blaster was aimed on their HUD.

To me more precise its based on the Bergmann no. 1 which was a full sized service pistol (there was only about 20 ever made) the picture you had was the Bergmann no. 2 which was smaller

You have it written that he has a hand held telescope as well but I think that is actually the scope from his rifle that he removed for that purpose. This has bin done in several movies in the past.

She likely knew him well enough to know hed go after baby Yoda, meaning him going after imperials alone. Getting surrounded is highly likely in that case
This show reminds of like a gta game lol. They have a place to get bounty missions a place to upgrade armor and even a place to save the plane. This show is awesome
There should be a mandalorian videogame, open world and kinda like red dead redemption. You would make missions and get paid to buy new equipment. It would be great.

Jango fett is not a mandalorian. He is simply a poser. He got his armor from killing mandalorians and he uses them to create a false sense of fear and power. Same thing applies to boba.
Still badasses. Furthermore I don't see it as a false sense of fear and power if in fact you can kill a Mandalorian. That isn't a easy task. The fact that Jango and Boba aren't Mandalorians, but still wear the armour is the biggest flex ever.
I completely agree that it doesn’t take away from there power or strength. It’s just a “fun” fact which has no meaning other than having someone say “oh, well that’s cool”
If you can kill a Mandalorian, then any sense of fear and power you create is absolutely real.
The new episode has a village girl use a relby, which is bossk’s gun I believe.
Don't forget: to the unaided eye, infrared light-emitting devices aren't going to have any visible light to indicate that they are currently in use.

First, intelligence and sentience/sapience are two different things, so you might want to precise your meaning.
Second, it is not grilling a potentially sentient creature that bothers me, but grilling one while keeping possibly its brother caged right beside and force them to watch what will most likely be their fate as well. It comes up to me as a needlessly cruel treatment.

Boba Fett and Jango Fett aren’t Mandalorians and that is from George Lucas, they are imposters. Being Mandalorian is a cultural thing and neither of those characters embrace the ways of a Mandalorians.

I don't think that the thermal imaging is built into his helmet because in episode 2(?) where he goes to rescue the baby Yoda, you see him use a flashlight inside the building that the baby was kept in. If the thermal imaging was in his helmet he, presumably, wouldn't have needed to use the flashlight since it would only serve to give his position away to the Stormies patrolling the building.
I wonder what a ship sized destabilizer would be like? I mean ...all we see are turbo-lasers, and ion cannons when it comes to energy weapons on capital ships .

the weapons shown in this video is only a fraction of Mandalore's vast history starting from the Taungs first crusade to Mandalore,
for thousands of years Mandalorians preferred the use of melee weapons till the popularization of guns during the Mandalorain crusades.
there are many examples such as the traditional Beskad (mandalorain sword), Kal dagger, Mythosaur axe and the Crushgaunts.
Technically Boba isn’t a mandalorian
Yes and no: he wast born on mandalore and wasnt even created from someone born on mandalore but being a mandalorian just means you share the old warrior ways, its an ideology so yeah boba is a mandalorian
@@maxaudet5177 Actually, in cannon, the Clone Wars animated series if I remember, it is expressly stated that Jango Fett, and later Boba, are NOT Mandalorians, they merely wear a substandard version of the distinctive armor.
@@tmac2744 yes i know jango was adopted by a true mandalorian and boba was his unmodified clone but what i meant is that they are considered mandalorians because they follow the old warrior ways, there are mandalorians (natives of mandalore) and there are the mandalorians who live by the old warrior ways. Basically anybody can be a mandalorian, its somewhat of an ideology in fact
@@maxaudet5177 My point was that the MANDALORIANS insisted, vehemently, that Jango and Boba ARE NOT Mandalorians. So the other adherents to the Mandalorian Code state that they are not Mandalorians and do not follow the code. In fact, they pretty close to attacked Obi-Wan when he said that he had met Mandalorians named Fett.

You guys talk about the weapon that disintegrates the Mandalorians in their armour as some kind of end to their superiority but that thing disintegrates everything if your in front of it. Either way just don't go near one. Problem half solved, your still small arms proof and light saber resistant. I want to see a jedi master in front of the big disintegrator
Edit-it's a different video where you guys talk about this same arc weapon. It came across differently in that video and in this one it's just a fact stated as it is.

I dont wanna be that guy but assault rifle is a general term. Like i assumed assault rifle meant rifles the military used but its a term that means similarly style rifles. I assumed the average joe versions like the ar 15 and the ak 47 were different but people like to compare them to the m 16. However the m16 is full auto where as the ar 15 and ak 47 are semi auto.
