We don’t have couching. We have learn as you go, “trial by error” which you learn what works and see if it works for the next and the next. Couching would be awesome.

Tbh, y'all make it sound terrifying. I'm looking forward to the opportunity. Many years dealing with customers 1 on 1. Just not automotive. 🤞

Hey Chris and Jeremy, love you guys! Your shows were pivotal in my taking the plunge into the Service Industry. You helped my understanding of what exactly a Service Advisor does and should be. I just started two weeks ago at a smaller Nissan dealer in Shamokin Dam, PA. Happy to report things are going well. I'm successfully applying the principles you're teaching with great success. Thank you so much for the insight and wisdom y'all bring to the table. It's giving me an edge that my Fixed Ops and GM have noticed. We hope to move to a much larger location with a proper service drive by next year. I especially appreciate your guys' process/system focus. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing some deficiencies in our current processes, and I'm concerned that we may not be able to scale very well at the new location. Regardless, keep up the good work! Kindly, Ben Beaver

You should add parts management training to your platform. Make it a total fixed ops solution. The parts side is easy. My dealer group has retained a parts management company and has completely ignored the fact that we can have all the right parts in stock, but if the advisors aren’t dialed in, it’s all a waste of money. We NEED service advisor training. Some of the cringy things I see in the drive and hear in the BDC make me wonder where we’re headed. Just my 2 cents from my un-seatbelted parts managers point of view.
