@@GeekGirlBricks yeah, I think the dimensions are good. They have a smaller foot print, so you it’s easier to make a city if you don’t have too much space.
It’s looking really good, I’m definitely disappointed that they are so stingy with the plain and striped 2x4 plates for the road plates I wish they came with spares so we could really use them flexibly. Looking forward to seeing how your city progresses
Looks great! You could try using a pair of 1x2 grill tiles (if you have some on hand) to create street water drainage gutters in the places where you are short in supply of 1x4 tiles.
Must say, it looks great. Still undecided about the new plates myself. Bought one box to have a play with and see how it could integrate with my city but not opened yet. It’s just the added hassle of having to raise my modulars which I’m unsure about
I must admit it has taken plenty of extra plates!!! It wasn’t so bad for me as I don’t have a massive City, I guess it just depends how much changes you’d have to do
Oh ! New road plates. You can kind of customize 'em. That's cool. At the end,i think those look pretty cool. BTW, your Lego City looks amazing!!! I hope you are having a great day and I wish you a super awesome weekend!!! 🤓👍🏼
No I was able to kind of peel the building off of the base plate. I just took the top layers off and slowly pulled the base plate off from the corner 👍🏻
Hey. Think I said before, but this is an awesome set up. Watched a lot of videos of how people have integrated new plates with modulars and this is my fav. Can I ask a few questions as I’d like to replicate something similar. The kerb hight looks perfect. Your mils set up for the modulars. Is it two plates high on top of the 32 x32 base plate? Then for your road, is that just one of the new road plates on top of a 32 x 32 baseplate. Thanks for your help 👍
I’m starting to love these new road plates. Thank you for sharing
I really like them, fits better with the size of my city anyway, thanks for watching 😊
I think the new roads look like something from a Juniors/4+ set. Those 2x4 tiles stick out so much
It would be better without the tiles but they’re an ideal size for me

Extras would’ve been great, I think they want you to follow the rules and have it set up as per the instructions 😂
Great video! Really cool to see someone using the new road plates in a city build
Thanks 😊
City looks cool
Thanks 😊
@@GeekGirlBricks your welcome

That’s a great idea, will definitely do that, I’ve got some grill tiles 👍🏻 thanks 😊
You did a great job!
Thanks 😊
Great!
Thanks 😊
I like the new road plate it just that I don’t want to dissemble my city just to add them in
Thanks, it’s definitely a harder choice if you’ve already got a large city built!
Those new road plates a still a doubt. I wanna see them with my on eyes. But sofar it looks very good in your City
I like that they allow less road and more building/scenery. They have definitely divided opinions!
Looks really nice!
Thanks 😊
it looks good 👍😀
Thanks 😊

That looks quite neat. I was worrying about those new road plates and still haven't decided to buy it...
I like them but not sure they would look as good without raising the bases up
Great video just subscribed keep up the great work! :)
Thanks 😊

Thanks Ricardo all starting to come together now 😊
New sub, great looking city you got there.
Thanks so much 😊
Awesome job
Thanks 😊
Did u have to disassemble your modulars in order to rise them?

I've only managed to get 2 sets so far. They seem to be sold out everywhere. Not sure about my local Lego store though.
Yeah even though it seems to have divided opinion they appear to be popular!
