I've been waiting for someone to put out a video with all the 2022 City sets with roads! It's really interesting to see how they all combine. Also, thank you for including all the process of trying to figure out how to put them together, usually we only get the finished product, but as we know this is only part of the story
Personally, I like them. as a somewhat casual fan, they make it simpler to re-arrange layouts and increase the immersive build experience. A specific crosswalk box with speed-bumps and a poly-bag or small box set of connectors & line marking stickers would be a HUGELY welcome addition to the lineup to round out the lines utility and flexibility.
This is shocking ! That you can put these all together to prove what i always was suspicious of. That is alot of work on your part and give you praise for doing it. Stay Awsome. Heading next week to Spain if you want any Lego mags just let me know. Thanks
As a kid i was skeptical of this too but at the same time around 2006 to 2008, i found it out myself anyway because i had this massive lego box with instructions to build multiple builds and still have tons of lego left over. Funny how back then they were making lego ppl from lego pieces which makes me laugh with 2 by 1 faces/eyes.
Great video but I was wondering where the skate-park set (LEGO City 60290) was, as that features road plates too and was promoted much more than some of the smaller sets, like the beach and school sets
Wait a minute, LEGO is making EMS sets now?!?!? MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!!!!!! The new highlighter-yellow color looks sick too. I just wish my parents gave me more allowance and let me get new LEGO sets more often. I didn't even know these existed until I scrolled through Google Images looking for the 2021 fire sets, then I stumbled upon heaven itself, the new 2022 City sets. Absolutely fabulous.
Looks like buying all those extra vehicles interfered with your work with the buildings and road system. Interesting to see you working on different configurations.
Hey! Friendly advice if next time, you could display the set without as many vehicles on the table. It would help me get a better idea of the general layout, as well as help me game plan what vehicles I specifically want to display at a time.
wonderful video as always! your videos are the best to binge while building sets of my own. quick question, do you happen to recall where you got that shelf from that’s in the background at 1:24 ? it would be perfect for the display in my room. thank you!!
I found the road plate a very good choice for the street hockey game in 60291… otherwise my kids are fine with my old 9362 baseplates, which I used as a kid - so we are fine streetwise. Also none of the 2022 city sets seems to be good addition to our set up. As always fantastic video DuckBricks! Thanks.
When ur on about the old baseplates are you on about those green baseplates from years and years ago? I remember them so well myself because i had them in a lego box back in 2006 and 2008 era of my time as a kid.
When you slot the bank set in towards the end of the video you do not have the road plates that come with that set attached. Could that be why you did not have enough road plates to finish off the layout?
great video as usual. Lego city is not my cup of tea but it is good to know. Besides, this is most interactive Lego video than any others I came across so far.
I feel that the lego city 2022 sets werent so themed toward 1 or 2 different buildings such as the police and fire station. To me, it would make a ton more sense if they made less vehicles to promote it and took it from all points of view either than more just a 1 track mindset of expecting u to just build the set and then give u spare cars left over. I just personally never like the fact with lego that all the sets end up making such a small thing altogether in comparison and managed to fill in the space correctly. The way i see it is ur paying more for too much useless additional builds for the sets. I think the lego city trains set i saw ages ago when at disneyland paris, u had to pay upwards of like £200.00 (its mostly because its disneyland paris tho) for a total of 2 small sets only 1 of which actually had a train or something and the other makes a typical circular track which i find annoying with train set toys. I honestly believe lego needs to step uo there game more and actually consider the possibilites far more clearly.
5:24 - it looks like the real world vehicles are driving into the Lego city!
i agree it does
👍👍👍👍👍👍
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Nice to see a real life road behind you while building roads 😀

Would love to see a video of both 2021 and 2022 road plate sets combined great video
These Sets are awesome!👌😀 And when you connect all your Sets together, its so satisfying
Personally, I like them.

The world went to hell when they cancelled Lego City 60278 Crooks Hideout
60278
Oh yeah I also know that Lego set was canceled
I wanted it for my Lego city
@@flying9663
Facts I was pretty mad to, the reason they banned it was stupid too.
I've been waiting for someone to make a video like this! Please make one with the 2021 sets too I would love to see how they all combine! :)

That set came out last year so it wasn’t featured for now as these were only the 2022 releases!
You have to have the biggest lego collection in the world.
I don't know about it, Jang's collection is gigantic as well
5:23 you can just see the traffic behind him LMAO

Hi! i love your videos, can you do all of the roadplate sets ever made? that would be awesome
Can you connect the 2021 with the 2022 sets it would make my life a lot easier
Looks like buying all those extra vehicles interfered with your work with the buildings and road system. Interesting to see you working on different configurations.
You should connect the newer sets with the 2021 sets
Man,that room is a nightmare. Less thing but better displayed.
i want to see a video connecting 2021 as well!
Can you pls combine this with the 2021 sets
Great video, I was wondering How long have you been collecting lego?
Lego has made about 500 fire departments over the years, is this the first time they made an actual building on fire for them to extinguish?
Hey! Friendly advice if next time, you could display the set without as many vehicles on the table. It would help me get a better idea of the general layout, as well as help me game plan what vehicles I specifically want to display at a time.
Why put the bank next to the police and the fire next to the burning building it would be cooler if it was a bit more away from it
wonderful video as always! your videos are the best to binge while building sets of my own. quick question, do you happen to recall where you got that shelf from that’s in the background at 1:24 ? it would be perfect for the display in my room. thank you!!

@@unboxing_legend7708 yeah they are light grey and have a green line next to the streets… must be 30years old - but gold!
The older city fire station and police station sets were bigger, more realistic, and aesthetically pleasing. These new ones are cringe
@@GreenLeafUponTheSky Yeah, the colors are really overkill AND the buildings are so small...
Thank you duck bricks
I agree with other commenters that LEGO should have included more roadplates with all of the vehicles.
Awesome video!
I need to get more lego city
oh wow, didnt know you shot on your iPhone
this vid is really amazing btw lol, cant believe you got all sets haha
They are awesome
When you slot the bank set in towards the end of the video you do not have the road plates that come with that set attached. Could that be why you did not have enough road plates to finish off the layout?
It’s because I removed the road plates to connect the earlier parts of the road - sorry if that was unclear!
GOD TIER VID
I wish these would go with older ones
city with new sets looks nice :)
Exactly how I feel about these!
Nice idea bit I wish you'd moved all the vehicles out the way before you started. It's not easy to see what you're doing
♥ Love Them ♥
New shelves in the apartment! Looks like Billy shelves. Woohoo! #teambilly
I'd love to hear your opinion on the 60343 Rescue Helicopter Transport featured in this video. 😉
sick man, keep up the good work
Thanks!!
Have you done a 2023 version?
Pretty Cool Duckbricks!
great video as usual. Lego city is not my cup of tea but it is good to know. Besides, this is most interactive Lego video than any others I came across so far.
How does the lego city railway work with crossings and height of the roads?
A few week later , You packed those Lego sets to other city.
Hopefully when the new sets come out you will be able to expand you city
I got the fire station it had extra
AWSOME!!!

NO MORE PLATE, W/ BOW 5X8X2/3! NO MORE!
Wow
Very nice video
How do you build this 😮

Always Awsome
Everybody's asking LEGO to add more 2 x 4 tiles...
Duckbricks, did you see the greg farshtey, he’s gone now and is not a lego employee anymore. I hope he has a good life whatever he does next.
As of 2024 the Road Plates appear to be Gone.
You forgot one the lego city train staion
This video came out before those were released in the summer, along with the grocery store and a few other sets
Very rich, obviously
29:37 pain
I like this i have the same thing
man you need to make an actual lego city
You are LEGO LEGO LAND CEO??
nice
Do you own or rent that NY apartment? :) if rent: how much? :D
the skate park is missing
That’s a 2021 set, this video only covers 2022 :)
True... My bad :D
Did you hear the news?
If you’re talking about the canon contests and Greg, yeah :(
I’ll have a video out this week/maybe tomorrow about it
DuckBricks yeah it sucks.
1:05

Hey!
You are so beautiful :) and your video's are always fun to watch. Hope I'm not being rude. Keep up the good work 😃
👍👍🏽
I wonder If a Lego breaks he just builds it like nothing
It's definitely great to be a rich person Child .
I don't like that color
Honestly, the new road system is terrible.
