Absolutely stunning video again guys as always. Adam is such a down to earth angler. Happily passing on his knowledge to all of us. Thankyou all for your hard work producing very enjoyable content.
48 seconds in and he says "I`ve not fished it I`ve not even walked round it but I`ve got a ticket on it" The difference between us normals and sponsored anglers.
It’s common practice for any angler to buy a ticket on a syndicate water and not fish it.Nothing to do with being sponsored. Personally I think Embryo have a good system whereby you sign on when you fish their lakes , that way they know you’re actually fishing the lake and not just buying the ticket, which by the way is selfish and just keeps other anglers that may actually want to fish the lake out.
@@Kingcarparpeggio I agree, there is a lake close to me that is very hush hush, secret squirrell. It`s a dead mans shoes water and I have been trying for a while to find out about getting on the waiting list to no avail. Then suddenly a named angler films a piece on there and says that he has had a ticket for a few years but hardly ever fished it, a few weeks later and another named angler posts on Instagram that he has just secured a winter ticket and is looking forward to it. more who you know than what you know.
@@Theshotdemon what are you talking about. My point was Adam has loads of tickets adding up to £££££££ and has never fished it. Wish I was in that position.
@grahamcockings4280 I know. There is tons of cheap tickets like that. You just need to know where to look. That's why I say you're walking around with your eyes closed.
A Friend and I were on a lake exclusive in France last week, we moved lakes 2 hours drive to a day ticket, fish had clearly shut up shop, 3 days blanking on zigs and maggots to 4 days hauling 44 fish, 12 30s including 3 39s and a 40 between us too! Sometimes a big move is needed!!!
Wish we had dedicated Carp Venues here( 🇺🇸). Everything is wild over here. Sure we have a few Public Parks here and there that have old old carp in there but only a few. The majority of my fishing is unknown reservoirs, lakes, rivers and backwater canals. Finding wild carp is unpredictable, if you guys have any tips for wild carp fishing I’d greatly appreciate it. Great video I always learn something watching Adam, top notch stuff.
Find spots you can potentially see. Bait heavy with cheap bait corn, maize, hemp seed things like that. Start of slow and build up bait on the spot. See if they have Been visiting there. Then slowly add boilies to the mix or whatever hook bait you’re going to use. Just stay consistent you’ll eventually find them dude👍
Hey Adam and crew brilliant vlog I’ve gone back to supple materials again they sit so more naturally over any type of bottom good luck with that cold 👍🏻
Fantastic as always. A quick question. How do you stop the putty from slipping on the hooklink? I sometimes find that putty, especially on coated braid, slips quite easily, and I worry that on a strong cast it will just slide up to the hook.
Shows us rig then says ‘if I had my way I wouldn’t be taking about any of this as it’s all my little edges’. I like listening to and respect anglers like Adam but I don’t think there are any edges left in carp fishing, Korda, Nash, Fox etc have ensured we all know the ‘latest rigs’ so that we can rush out and buy all their end tackle !! I do agree however with the comments about fish not needing to tighten up to the lead to get hooked, we used to fish running rigs as kids all the time and catch plenty without really knowing what we were doing. I have started going back to fishing a running rig on 1 rod to test it out again. Guess what, I had a 32lb mirror on the running rig last week. A new PB on a hinged stiff rig so maybe they do still work 👍👍
Fishing for me is about enjoyment of being far away from people, and relaxing in beautiful surroundings of nature, all the lakes near me as of May 2020 to present are constantly jam packed with anglers and you have to book in advance which i never had to before, this has taken away all enjoyment 😡
So now we've evolved to12-14" hook links that isn't for the purpose of deep silt, just an ordinary bottom. I think we're just about covering every different type rig imaginable, stating how great they ALL are, thus concluding that a ball of string and safety pin is in fact good enough with a worm on it, RIGS AND BAIT MATTER NOT A JOT. Simply find the fish
This is ok Adam but unfortunately most places these days you have to pay in advance for your swim so if you just pack up and go to another venue that means paying twice for the pleasure that all of us carp anglers enjoy
Why have a ticket for a water you know nothing about or have never fished ! When there’s probably someone that can’t get a ticket on his/her local water cause you’ve got there’s!!!!!!
Don't know if you're allowed to climb trees? I don't need permission pal, same as bullshit convid rules. Fish where I like when I like, see you in common law court for your guaranteed loss 😉
This annoys me that he has tickets on lakes his ever walked round, this might of stopped an fisherman really wanting to fish this lake. Flipping jokers
By far the best presenter out of all the TH-cam videos I watch. And I watch them all belive me. Sound video Adam thanks again as always

I did feel the same tbh… imagine having a ticket to a lake but being to busy fishing else where to even ever walk it 😂

You don’t have to be sponsored to be in that position, just hold a few club tickets 🤷🏼
The art of simple effective angling! Only the best😁
10 minutes in when you let that dark mirror back 👍 the water 😳 beautiful as you said GIN clear + i love the music (big passion!!) also
Excellent and no nonsense as usual.
I wish I could have tickets on lakes and never seen them before, guess that’s what goes with being famous. Great blog guys. 🎣🎣
I agree Grahm how can someone pay for a ticket without visiting the venue- must have too much wonga.
Walk in to your local tackle shop, they tell you of local club water worth fishing, pay for said ticket then turn up at lake. You're welcome 😂
You guys are walking around with your eyes closed.

Class vid as always m8 👍
Im interested in the hook link length Adam. and how do you store it. do you just tie them on the bank ? Fascinating video as always..
Is there danger of unregistered drops backs with your alarm set up with bobbins on the deck?

Thread a sinker on instead or wrap it around a sinker, shouldn’t move. Remember also putty in cold water is even more stiff and should stay put.
The right putty won't slip. Kordas isn't good but the one more casts tuff is fantastic.
Top angler, much respect, even when germed up!
Great video guys! 👌
Awesome as always Adam 👍👍
Super vid, does anyone know what Polaroids Adam is using, look like they go Iver prescription glasses??
It’s a stunning lake to fish only been carp fishing about a year and already had a good pb of 27.12 from there
Great advice again Adam👍

Great vid as always Adam, do you use the Manila active all year round or is it just a winter bait? 👍👍🎣🎣

Why keep questioning ourselfs and doing what others do.
Just keep it simple like he says.
It works and the old simple is now rare for many venues
