    Thanks for the info
I agreed and was surprised by most of your research. I must correct that the British took Jamaica from the Spanish in 1655.
Spain ruled Jamaica from 1494 - 1655. That's 150years, in Rhiannon time black spanish muslims who fought with the Spanish against the British in 1655.
When the black muslims/Africans realised that their Spanish comrades/employers//owners were fleeing and loosing the battle the Black muslims and Africans took up their weapons and went up to the blue mountains (in 1655)!
They then interpreted with the Taino Indians and learnt the way of the jungle and Indians/tracking/camouflaged/hunnting. They were undetected for over 70 years!
Hiding out for 70 years (hybrid jungle kids were born)!
This is why the maroons were so fierce they wasn't slaves they were already free when the Spanish Rd flees leaving them the guns to fight and to continue fighting!!!

@@Zonjy I truly appreciate you’re perspective and much needed voice. Nonetheless the brother Ishmael Bey isn’t wrong. Xaymaca is a transliteration of Jamaica. J is the youngest of letters in the Latin alphabet. Remember there are levels to the Moorish paradigm that we contemporary Moors are peeling away at COLLECTIVELY. I voiced my opinion because it seems as if u r dismissing the brother Ishmael Bey’s FACT. I’m not being defensive bcuz I’m sure the brother can solidify his own square. HM, King Charles III, in his speech: Islam And The West:
“. . . we have underestimated the importance of 800 years of Islamic society and culture in Spain between the 8th and 15th centuries. The contribution of Muslim Spain to the preservation of classical learning during the Dark Ages, and to the first flowerings of the Renaissance, has long been recognised. But Islamic Spain was much more than a mere larder where Hellenistic knowledge was kept for later consumption by the emerging modern Western world. Not only did Muslim Spain gather and preserve the intellectual content of ancient Greek and Roman civilisation, it also interpreted and expanded upon that civilisation, and made a vital contribution of its own in so many fields of human endeavour - in science, astronomy, mathematics, algebra (itself an Arabic word), law, history, medicine, pharmacology, optics, agriculture, architecture, theology, music. Averroes and Avenzoor, like their counterparts Avicenna and Rhazes in the East, contributed to the study and practice of medicine in ways from which Europe benefited for centuries afterwards" "Cordoba in the 10th century was by far the most civilised city of Europe. We know of lending libraries in Spain at the time King Alfred was making terrible blunders with the culinary arts in this country. It is said that the 400,000 volumes in its ruler's library amounted to more books than all the libraries of the rest of Europe put together. That was made possible because the Muslim world acquired from China the skill of making paper more than 400 years before the rest of non-Muslim Europe.."

I read that the moors were exhiled to the caribbean. Specifically Jamaica, cuba and haiti. If you think about it they were ruling spain for 700 years which means there is a HIGH population of black moors in spain, that population was split and taken to the three main caribbean island. Another thing to consider is that spain didnt went ino africa fro slave untilo late after, it was the portugese that went into africa initially. So basically jamaicans were arabic speaking moors that were prisoner of the queen of spain.

That's not complicated there was no j the word is yamica. The Moroons moors Moroccans are a bloodline of the moabites children of Lot and children of Israel. Who were the safaritic jews along the northern shores of africa who were the first enslaved in the conquest of Andalusia.( spain) who were tricked on April first 1492. Which is why we actually celebrate April fools day ...anyway All sons of shem which are all herbrew in nature. The caribs or aribs which are reffered to also as the arawak. W and V are interchangeable with the letter B which again gives you Arabac. The island of Cuba is the cube or altar the kaba. The "indians" the cherokee are the cheriqui another word for black jews. Which is why the long history and customs mirror hebrew traditions the Iroquois are the sons of Iraq. And are all part of the 5 civilized tribes.
The only came to the land which was already named AL Mooruka (western Morocco) to destroy the larger part of the Moorish empire.
