This is kind of funny, but I realize that if you barely barely barely slightly roll the window down. Just a hair's breath, then you can make it stop. So I have kind of to do that it comes from the window glass and the door seal not being sealed correctly. I actually have another good reviewing some tires, and it's pretty crazy because you can hear the sound squealing the whole entire time. My video is about how loud the Michelin CC2 tires are, and once you hit 85 it starts squealing

Yeah this is a very strange sound. Actually have a video I did a review on some tires. And you can hear it screeching in the video. It's hard to explain, and for the first two years I thought it was coming in from the windshield wipers and whatnot. I guess it's just a specific model. I have the grand touring limited edition. 2019. 2.5 L engine. No turbo. And I'm telling you, you're so lucky you don't have to deal with it. It is the most annoying crap on the planet. It literally is almost like a speed limiter because I'd rather go slower than lose my sanity
My 2019 cx5 grand touring awd does this too. Its the most annoying sound in the world. 75 mph plus. Also I don't know if this will help you or if you have a sunroof. But if I vent the sunroof ( tip the rear section open) the sound stops. Tapping on my windshield does not help mine.
Ill try that next time. And I didn’t mean top on he windshield. I meant tapping the window control for maybe .1 a second. Opening the window a fraction of a second changes everything.
I'm not exactly sure appeared but as far as I can tell it's in between the window and the window seal. If you micro micro micro crack the window. Like just barely chicken pack the button, it will stop. I thought it was a windshield wipers, but I think I have an isolated to the window on the driver side and the window seal

@@Anderwist You know something that's strange. It was really bad when I first bought the car in 2019. I mean it would start squealing it 80 to 85. This is going to sound strange, because it's still a new car to me. But it's starting to get better. Example, I drove 90 the other day because I was going to rush to get back home for some parental medical emergencies. And I really didn't notice it's squealing. So it might be getting better with time, Sure if that's good, cuz that might mean the seal is getting worse. But still
I have this issue too on my 2019 grand touring reserve. th-cam.com/users/shortsJxmZBJUTxi0?feature=share I get it at 85+ too, but also when the winds are strong around 75+. I will try tapping the windshield when I drive to San Antonio this weekend.
Sorry about that. I went in the right place to go 90 mph because there's so many police officers on my stretch of the highway. I actually do have a video about the noise of the tires I bought. It's talking about the Michelin CC2 tires and I'm measuring the noise rating. And the whole entire time the cabin is screeching.

You got to be honest, I shouldn't be going that fast anyway. I'm not a speeder either. A lot of times I'll go 65 on the interstate Just keep it there because I want to be easy on my car. Never had a nice car before, so I'm trying to treat this one like a baby. But yeah when you have to speed somewhere or you don't have time, this thing squeals
@@aulzhoefer hahaha that is hilarious. So just to confirm, you do get that same screeching when you go around 85+? I DIDN’T know if it was just my vehicle, or it was all of them. I previously talked to the Mazda service center about it, but both times they said they would need a mechanic to drive it for a diagnosis. I told them 85mph and they said he can't drive above the posted speed limit (65mph on the nearby interstate). Hence, I did not do the diagnostic...

Hello! I have the same problem with Mazda cx5 in Bulgaria ! Can you show in video what are you made with the window, or the button?
It is the rubber gasket between the window, which can go up or down, and the door.
TSB 09-21-02 is the fix. It is the seal around the driver's door. This is a Canadian TSB but all Mazda dealerships can access it.

Just reseal it with the caulk they use for windshields. You probably have a small slit in the current seal.
