Sorry what do you mean when you say that on the Mavic when you shoot in Log you can chose the color on the screen so nothing is washed out ? I have an MA2 and a Air 2S and one of the things I really don’t like is that when I shoot in log everything is so flat that I don’t know if it’s wrong or right. Can you choose viewing in real colors while shooting log? Where? How? Thanks

I think it's a wonderful drone, it's so easy to see cause of the bright orange. I love the video and pictures it takes. To be honest though I do not like the controller I always hit the button on the bottom. I wish it had a DJI mini 2 controller, but other than that it's amazing!! I really don't know how to put the right camera settings yet cause I haven't been out that much lately.

I brought an Evo2 since two weeks, I became from DJI and hate the Geo zones and constants new models with few "improves" the sell more drones more expensive and low the value of your versions "Olds".
I have parrot by years and the life time was aceptable, but dji dam is so fast life cycle.
So autel keeps his drones at least two years life cycle or more. I found a Evo2 pro on ebay for $1180 new, was a very good deal, two batteries more, the bag ant the multiple charger base was the extra things that I purchased, I get a full combo by about $1600

    Taking your drone on vacation.
If you are going to take your drone on vacation I think this would be the thing to do.
Do not leave the batteries in a hot car. If you are going to a show such as Branson Missouri and you know you will be leaving your drone and the batteries I suggest you find a good grade small cooler. You want to get the kind that you can put these ice bags you have in the motel's freezer in the cooler. Place each drone battery in one zip-lock bag. You can double bag the batteries if you would like. You do not want to have moisture get on the batteries. You want to keep them cool and dry while you are out of your car.
If you don't have the freezer gel packs you can double bag ice from the hotel.
The idea is keep the batteries cool and dry.
If anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear about this.

I really liked and agree with your first impressions epically those about the remote though the buttons on the back I've never gotten used to and hit them all the time by accident. I believe the Evo drones out of the box are better than the comparable DJI drones in picture quality and with no geo fencing it was a no brainer to get the EVO. Autel has done an excellent job on picture quality which is a big deal for those of us who want to take great pictures but just aren't that into all the work needed for superior picture quality. DJI has better interface software in my opinion and a much better designed remote but I still preferer the Autel over all for better picture quality and no geo fencing. That begin said my next drone will be a DJI Mavic 3 due to the fact that Autel does not support their products once the warranty is over, accessories like batteries and props become un-available after a couple of years and their customer service is very rude and unwilling to work with you if your having an issue. I currently have the Evo 1 which I bought a little over 2 years ago and with all the extra's I'm into it for about $1600 and I've really enjoyed it and have taken some amazing pictures (at least they are for me) and I've never had any crashes. My troubles started 2 months after the warranty expired, the fan in the controller went out making a lot of noise. Customer service said that it couldn't be repaired and that I would have to buy a new controller. I elected to replace the defective fan myself for $12 but was told this would void the warranty (which was expired). Replaced the fan, life was good until about 7 months ago and the gimbal started drifting up and to the right during a flight then I started getting additional warnings for anomalies on the drone and was forced to land. Reboots, calibrations firmware all did nothing to fix the issue and when I called customer support I was told that they couldn't help me and that I would need to buy a new drone. The EVO II is just over 2K and with the better controller its over 3k. I'm not willing to spend that kind of money only have to do it again in a few years when Autel stops supporting the EVO II and I can't get batteries, prop's or any kind of service once the warranty is over. DJI at least supports their products after the warranty is over and accessories are available for many, many years later. Its sad because the EVO drones are better than DJI but the company just won't support them after the warranty and lack of replacement accessories is a deal killer.

    • @DroneSupremacy
      @DroneSupremacy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The difference between 1080p and 4K is quite obvious, and more resolution means more cropping and reframing possibilities, not necessarily better quality

Great review thanks. Personally I will never invest a single penny in a company whos product line of drones and otherwise (automotive, etc.) is a complete rip off. Zero originally, they replicate a competitors product then make enough changes to avoid prosecution in court (not suits as they are in court all the time defending themselves) and then figure out how to offer one or two features that are supposedly better than the competition. C'mon "Smart Controller"? DJI didn't develop and release "a smart controller" it's the Smart Controller, that's its name. What kind of pathetic company then also names their new controller the exact same thing? Rip Off!

Still looks like it has a shitty digital feel. I personally hate my DJI Mavic Pro's image and I was hoping this drone would be the step up with the 1 inch Sony sensor. But it still looks like it's overly digital feeling.
Too bad they aren't using a Micro Four Thirds sensor, like the sensor in the Black Magic Pocket 4k.

😷👍🏻. For privacy /total ownership….I think Autel blows DJI away.
They lock out OWNERS from flying their drones based on a highly inaccurate mapping system.
IF Autel remains “Free”, it will be the way I go.

Are you kidding me. Autel technical support and/or after sales service service is BAD. I am not maybe the drone is good but the technical support and after sales service is bad. The techinician (not technicians) lack the knowledge in supporting this product. The Evo II Pro keeps having gimbal initialiazation errors and this is third or the fouth time , the drone could not recover from it. You I own a DJI and the techinical support on DJI is top notch. They know there stuff and the after sales service is great. This is from an impartial drone pilot who uses drones in his bussines . Just something to consider before you buy an Autel.
