No this is a hardware limitation
@@OriginaldoBo Thanks for responding to my question. I really appreciate that.
There is some noticeable difference in the camera between V2 and V3 according to your experience.
Lack of 10-bit is all
I want this remote controller for my Evo Lite+.
Can you carry in on the plane? I'm going to New Orleans soon and wondering if I can bring it with me.
Yes
Definitely looks a good drone, I didn't find the colour problem you talk about though as it seemed find to me.
If you can’t see the issue you haven’t used a drone with proper color science
it's all subjective.... I have Sony cameras and you get all the people complaining about the colol... It's not Nikon it's not Canon... Blah blah
Does have HDMI out?
I still have the V1 never had any real issues… I don’t think is worth upgrading, rather get a Mavic 3 classic.
That's was the battery which suck big time, same thing happened to me with a battery that went bad, that's why I closely monitor those damn batteries mine almost landed in the water once... get new batteries every 6 months and only use the newer ones when flying over water... @anonymouse8205
Great, can you show how it does the night shots? Thank you
Same as previous versions
Autel boasts a new Sony chip and much better night recording.? These days someone will do a nightly video test. You could have been the first.
@@OriginaldoBo I thought it was a new Sony sensor??
@@Kirko_bangz Yes, it has a new sensor, and the image quality is better than the V2 version. I'm interested in what the night shot looks like. Surely someone will make it soon.
I assume no geofencing which can fly this like in the city or busiest area?
Nice RC! The RC on the Evo II Pro is always running out of juice. Nice that we could swap out a battery
CHACHA REAL SMOOTH.....EVERYBODY TURN IT OUT....hahaha I gotta good giggle out of that.
The image quality looks great, the controller doesn't look bad either.
Which one is better? This drone or mavic 3 pro?
Hi, I wonder if you still can use your phone with that controller?
They were able to make a sub250 drone. Why the heck are they nearly 200 g over the magical restriction-border of 1 kg? At the same time the first ever C1-certificated drone was launched. In Europe it means a lot to be C1 or C2 certificated. Seems to be a new launch without certificate.
Are there any screen protectors for the Autel Robotics Smart Controller SE?
I had my eye on that new smart controller, and I agree that the size maybe perfect, especially for traveling. Glad you getting better transmission on the V3 EVO 2. I have V1 Autel EVO 2 Pro, and I don't remember having transmission issues, But I haven't flown it in awhile. Now I'm inspired to dust it off and give a test run. Great video Ken, and thanks for sharing.
I have over 100 hours flying my Evo 2 Pro and image transmission has been really good overall. It has other issues for sure, like pretty bad color science, but transmission was not one of them.
I’ve had terrible transmission when compared to my dji counterparts. This unit was perfect however
@@OriginaldoBo Its interesting how image transmission varies so much from unit to unit even on the same drone. But I’m glad the V3 has been solid for you.
Is there a smart controller for the V2?
Yes
I used to live in Spring hill. I don't know anyone with a drone out there
Think I'll stick with my V1. Controller looks cool though 👍👍👍
Hey buddy. Thanks for the video. Are we allowed to fly at the Pine Island itself?. TIA.
Yah
Is the battery of the evo 2 controller is working now please I wanted to buy it now
You have on a Pilot Institue hat. Did you go through the course?
I create courses for them
Oh cool. I'm in the course now. I finished up now working on the Practice Exams.
There is a slight tilt of the horizon.
I’ve only flown an autel once and I didn’t care for its flight characteristics compared to a DJI. Almost felt like it was flying crooked
Great review, you gave all the relevant detail and depth, as usual.
We spotted the missing timestamps on the controller, from when you edited out the overly-blue footage of that beach, as the FL walruses bask and apply the anesthetic lube to each others corpulent bodies and whatnot and so on. What a shame.
Looks like they are continuing to improve on this platform. It's not enough for me to switch brands, but I know others who are dedicated Autel fans. On another note, I learned about KY jelly having other uses, very valuable information ! Also, I thought for a brief minute you were going to bust out into a break dance and show us some moves ! LOL Thumbs up from here. ;-)
Which do you like better? Mavic 3 or evo 2 pro v3?
Mavic 3 of course. Thats clear. He doesnt like the color science of Autel drones and the way it responds to the sticks.
How is the image quality?
I ordered the evo 2 v3 and it came with the bigger remote for some reason?
Did you change zoom by wheel or by screen?. If by wheel shouldn't be smooth in your opinion?
Scroll wheel
@@OriginaldoBo So no big improvement. Can you also check is it still crop with 4k 50/60 fps?
Ma sul display non vedo l icona del radar..
that 6k video quality looked great.
Hey Ken, or other Mavic 3 owners, what EXP settings do you use? And are they different between C/N/S?
I use stock and work on my stick control.
In CINE > 0.10 all of the 3 EXP. There is no right or wrong answer, you just need to feel what is good for you.
Is your autel evo 2 pro v3 is working now please
Hate the fact that they are just making a V3 of the Evo 2. However the rc is looking great. Thanks for the review on it!
do they sell that controller separately and can it be used with the Autel Evo II ?
As I understand it, it's only for v3 chip sets.
Will we get the option of different colours?
We haven’t since the lite series
Can that remote control the EVO NANO and EVO Nano PLUS
The controller layout are simple and nicely lay out
Does the Florida Walrus migrate with the Northern Snow Bird?
Sometimes those are Florida Seals
Autel emailed me & said the new controller won't be compatible with the autel lite plus 😔
Will be a firmware update in the futures
Unfortunately, it looks like the horizon problem still exists. It looks like the color profile was not taken from Lite Plus. Too bad. It doesn't change the game in my opinion. Same drone as previous, i agree. Changing the controller is not enough to return to Autel.
I never notice a horizon problem from this video. Do you own one?
I'm so buying this fucking system!
I loved my evo 2 6k
Ken ! Is it compatible with the evo lite
Is this some type of soft release? You're the only person that has been able to do a review and I barely see any sites advertising this for sale.
Yes
@@OriginaldoBo Soft releases seem so risky, especially for the consumer. This seems to be a softer release than the Nano and Lite, no?
This was a great honest video
Looking forward to seeing more testing on this! I'm still not a huge autel fan, but you never know I guess! Good review Ken!
Can that RC use for autel evo II V2?
Nope. Just for the V3.
I agree. That color science out of the box sucks. Definitely needs works. But the connection is great. At 5600 ft still all the bars left. Like Billy Kyle once said these Autel drones fly like a brick and i agree with him.
Yeah takes a bit of messing around to get it to fly like my Mavics
Funny on the last part on your video while you dancing
Thank you for the great review
Mavic 3 Classic released today. Poor Autel.......back in the shadows again! I thought for sure it would be all Mavic 3 Classic today.
Any word on the nano 2 ?
No not at all
I have two autel evo2s.... a v1 with 8k camera and a v2 with the 6k cam.... am not quite pleased with autels strategy....from V1 to V2 to V3....and none of these versions are compatible...at least if the controllers versions were compatible one would just procure drone only.....I have a v2 smart controller and I am not able to update successfully with the smart controller I always have to pair with the v2 controller that came with the drone to successfully update...I am really not pleased with autel
Those bunny ears though 🐰...and crispy saturation...😶
Fantastic idea! Next time I'll change the engine in my car instead of buying a new one. These drone manufacturers think we are fools. I'm not falling this crap
When I thought I was going to go back to Autel I heard you say the key words! It still fly’s like crap! Dam Autel sorry for ya no sale over here!
Wow....great video on something I won't buy..lol. The best tip...put KY jelly for a toothache...YEAH!!!!
Are you going to trash this Autel drone around your studio after a couple of years of use, lol ?
Gimbals to big to fit in my mouth
LMAO love this guy
After 2 years this is the new drone they released not good at all.
I was waiting a drone with a telephoto camera.
V3 footage looks better than V2
Lol...we all love Pine Island 😎🐬
Good first look video Ken. Look forward to more on this drone.
I behold my EVO II as a pretty bird. Its funny I have heard you call her ugly more than anyone I watch doBo and then immediately remark how easy she is to see. Yeah she yaws like she's being slapped around by you because you abuse her verbally haha. Default colors are terrible. Shoot Log.
